Most Guns Sold in the History of the U.S. Under Obama, 52,600 a Day

It seems the king of U.S. gun control is also the nation’s best firearms salesmen. Ironic, no?

Some 23 million guns were sold in America last year, and while that in itself broke all records, it looks like this year is already set to blow last year away.

The Washington Examiner says it is due to all the gun control worries and terror attacks:

Under Obama, background checks for guns reached 141.4 million through the end of May, amounting to sales of about 52,600 a day, according to the FBI. Last year, the FBI conducted more than 23 million background checks, which are generally used to figure sales of new and used weapons.

More than 46 million guns were sold here just in Obama’s first six years alone. It seems the king of U.S. gun control is also the nation’s best firearms salesmen. Ironic, no?

Still, he wouldn’t hold a candle to Hillary on that score if the worst happens this November. She’s already gleefully bragging about all the gun control executive orders she’ll sign if and when (she thinks when) she becomes president.
