More Boots on the Ground: U.S. Sending Even More Soldiers to Fight Combat Missions in Syria

We are so far past Obama’s lies about how he would not be putting boots on the ground in Syria. Remember when Americans were protesting the very thing that’s happening right now back in 2013?

Well, here’s Defense Secretary Ash Carter talking about how the U.S. is sending more boots on the ground to fight combat missions in Syria.

Most Americans don’t realize there are already about 3,500 American “military advisors” in Iraq… soldiers the American people are told do not constitute “boots on the ground” because, even though their boots are very much on the ground, they are supposedly not actively participating in ground combat missions. (They are flying combat missions in the air, however and some have conducted raids, but hey, who’s counting.)

The “force cap” is about to be raised with the addition of 100-150 special operations forces to fight on the ground in Iraq and Syria.

Surely all of these soldiers signed up for the U.S. military and trained to become members of one of the most elite forces in it all so they could go fight a CIA-provoked civil war in Syria with the sole purpose of overthrowing the nation’s leader so the U.S. can control the resources there including the building of an oil pipeline.
