MO Gov Jay Nixon Working With Feds To Secure Back Door Gun Registration

Jay Nixon has to go. His veto of the Missouri 2nd Amendment legislation on Friday is minor in my opinion compared to what Missouri residents already know about this man. Let’s summarize the veto first, however. Fox 4 Kansas City reported on Friday:

Governor Jay Nixon vetoed House Bill 436 on Friday. The bill, that would have established the ‘Second Amendment Preservation Act,’ would have criminalized federal agents enforcing federal gun laws. Nixon said the bill was constitutionally impermissible in a press release, citing the supremacy clause.

If the bill had passed, federal agents could have been charged with a class A misdemeanor for enforcing any law that “sought to infringe on the people’s right to keep and bear arms.”

Missouri House Speaker Tim Jones (R-Eureka) said that he wants to override Nixon’s veto. He told the Associated Press that he is “shocked and astounded.” Furthermore, he believes that a super-majority of Missourians want their elected officials to override the bill.

Here’s what you need to understand about Nixon’s veto. Even though it was news everywhere on Friday it is not really newsworthy. Why? Because this bill was “veto proof.” As The D.C. Clothesline reported back on May 10th, there are plenty of votes in both the House and Senate to override any veto. So unless Missouri legislators have had a change of heart then Nixon’s veto is cosmetic:

Here is the best news. When I first heard of the passage I was a bit nervous. With a Democratic Governor you would have to think that this was in question, but it’s not. The vote in the Senate was 26-6. The vote in the House was 118-36. The bottom line?Any veto will simply be overridden. It’s a done deal.

The story from Friday is news because Nixon is a traitor to his constituents and I suppose it could develop into a story if Missouri representatives start changing their votes, but for now it seems like a minor hiccup. Do not worry.

I live in Missouri and there is something much bigger going on that people need to know about.

Jay Nixon is working with the federal government in an attempt to secure back door gun registration and he is in bed (politically) with none other than Janet Napolitano.

For those of you who are not aware there is a ton of controversy in Missouri because it was discovered that CCW information from private citizens was being sent to the federal government. If you want to read the story from March you can click here. Nixon has denied all claims of involvement but he is every bit as much of a wannabe dictator as Obama.

So again, there are many claims that Nixon is trying to force backdoor gun registration through in Missouri and he simply denies it. Jay Nixon feels he is above the law and just like Obama he will do anything he can to impose his will regardless of the legislative branch.

Back in May Dana Loesch reported for Red State:

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon repeatedly denied knowing anything about Missouri illegally sharing its citizens private CCW information with the federal government, even after his own head of Missouri Highway Patrol contradicted him in a public hearing. Now we’ve learned that Nixon not only knew about the violation of Missouri law, but he was thanked in a letter by Janet Napolitano:

Missouri law — signed into effect by Gov. Nixon himself — prohibits full compliance with the Real ID Act. This includes sharing Missouri’s conceal carry list, which officials under Nixon did, with his full knowledge, according to this letter.

Do you see a pattern here? Vetoes can be overridden as part of the legislative process. Backdoor political deals that violate state laws are an entirely different story. This is why Nixon is most dangerous and why Missouri has to get rid of him.

This slime ball seems to worship Barack Obama. He acts just like him. Untangling the web that is spun so intricately may take a while but there is no reason for this man to see another term as Missouri’s governor. Whether you accept his Real ID compliance letter as being tied to the “backdoor gun registration” controversy or not is immaterial. His attempt at compliance is in clear violation of Missouri State Law.

This kind of reminds me of a President who wants to sign a UN Small Arms Treaty that is in clear violation of The Constitution.

Like it or not I have to accept the fact that legally Jay Nixon has a right to veto legislation in my home state. He is the governor. If there are enough votes he gets an override. That’s how it works. That’s the law.

I think we spend a lot of time looking at the controversial decisions that are legal and not enough time looking at the stuff that goes on behind closed doors which may not be legal. Some politicians need to be voted out and others need to be arrested. Nixon fits with the second group.

This just in… Our government is overrun with crooks.

If we arrest all of the traitors in this country we are going to need a lot more jail cells. That’s a fact.
