Malnourished ‘Skeleton’ Dog Nursed Back To Health In Bali

When Rico Soegiarto found an abandoned husky it was so weak and sick from neglect it could barely stand up. It was so mangey and had so many sores on its skin that it was almost impossible to even tell the dog was a husky.  But Soegiarto nursed it back to health and the photos are truly heartwarming.

“Do you still remember? Dog that I found 10 months ago. Swipe left to see the changes,” the self-described animal lover wrote about saving the husky.

The night auditor at the Mercure Resort in Sanur received plenty of praise from dog lover around the world for his kind act because it’s believed the dog would likely have died soon after he was found if he was not nursed back to health, according to The Daily Mail. 

Soegiarto trimmed the dog’s fur to remove any matted hair and put ointment on his sores.

He also took his new friend to the vet, fed the dog, and made sure he had fresh clean water available. Ten months later the husky has a full, white coat and looks strong and healthy in before and after photos Soegiarto posted to social media.

Thanks to the loving care Soegiarto provided, the dog has made a full recovery and is completely normal and healthy.
