Madonna’s Protest Speech: “Yes, I thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House” (Video)

Madonna

On Saturday, Madonna delivered a profanity-laden speech to a massive crowd in DC.

She wanted everyone to know that’s she’s pretty upset.

Like, really mad.

Here’s an excerpt:

“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged.

Yes, I thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.

But I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair.”

Wait…what?

“Yes, I thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”

Listen for yourself:

Oooh, look – she wore a Pussyhat!

Anyway – if anyone else said something like this, what are the odds they would be tackled by Secret Service agents?

Poor little Madonna is simply devastated about Trump’s presidency, and apparently is very offended by some things he’s said about women in the past. The Pussyhat craze began as an act of protest partially in response to a leaked tape of a conversation Trump had with Billy Bush back in 2005, during which the now-president said, “Grab them by the pussy.”

Does anyone else find it funny that Madonna and other women are offended by Trump’s words from over a decade ago, but statements like “Hey, I’ve thought about blowing up the White House” are just fine?

On Sunday, Madonna attempted to clear things up with this message on her Instagram page:

“I want to clarify some very important things. I am not a violent person, I do not promote violence and it’s important people hear and understand my speech in it’s entirety rather than one phrase taken wildly out of context.”

Couldn’t Trump make a similar argument about that old conversation with Bush – that it was taken out of context? Maybe what Trump said was vulgar, but many people are interpreting it as HE ACTUALLY DID sexually assault women.

Not to mention Madonna’s hypocrisy – she comments that she “thought about blowing up the White House” but then chants, “Let’s choose love”?

“We choose love! We choose love! So let’s hate this one man TOGETHER before he’s even DONE ANYTHING TO ANYONE and casually talk about KILLING HIM! BECAUSE WE CHOOSE LOVE!”

facepalm

Madonna also said,

“And to our detractors that insist that this March will never add up to anything, f*ck you. F*ck you.”

What’s that about “choosing love” again?

Speaking of that, I don’t recall hearing Madonna EVER speak up about O-Bomber’s atrocious foreign policy. The former president bombed 7 nations and became the first in US history to be at war every single day of his eight year administration.

I also have never heard the Material Girl say a word about her girl Hillary Clinton receiving loads of money from countries that have terrible human rights and sexual discrimination records:

The Clinton Foundation has accepted tens of millions of dollars from countries that the State Department — before, during and after Mrs. Clinton’s time as secretary — criticized for their records on sex discrimination and other human-rights issues. The countries include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Brunei and Algeria.

Saudi Arabia has been a particularly generous benefactor. The kingdom gave between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation. (Donations are typically reported in broad ranges, not specific amounts.) At least $1 million more was donated by Friends of Saudi Arabia, which was co-founded by a Saudi prince. (source)

No – in fact, in October, Madonna offered oral sex to anyone who voted for Hillary.

Regarding her comment about blowing up the White House, an official U.S. spokesperson reportedly said Madonna’s statement will be evaluated for it’s seriousness, says Rare:

“It’s all about intent. Is she intending to do harm to the White House or President Trump? Otherwise it will be characterized as inappropriate,” the official said to The Post. “If it’s characterized as inappropriate, then there won’t be any discussions with the U.S. Attorney. If it’s determined that there’s intent on her part, then there will be discussions with the U.S. Attorney and they’ll take it from there.”
