Behar and Goldberg, hosts of The View, walked off the set during live taping in protest of what they deemed to be O’Reilly’s hate speech against Muslims.
The former Governor of Minnesota weighs in on the construction of the mosque, hate speech and his personal opinion about Bill O’Reilly and FOX news.

Ventura discusses the mosque and Bill O’Reilly’s position that it should not be built. O’Reilly cited a poll suggesting that 70% of Americans oppose the mosque:
“Let me say this about the mosque. Excuse me – the Constitution says they can do it. It ends there. You cannot subject the Constitution to a popularity poll. The Constitution is there, Joy, to protect unpopular speech. Popular things don’t need protecting.”
“The thing is, it doesn’t even matter… Now we’re going to change the Constitution according to Bill O’Reilly’s opinion or 70% of the nation’s opinion?”

Ventura discusses “hate speech” as it relates to saying that “Muslims” were responsible for September 11.
It’s a fact. You know, to me, I don’t really consider it hate speech. If it’s truly the truth, then it’s facts. And, facts are facts. And whether they make you uncomfortable or not, that’s you as an individual.

When asked by Joy Behar what he thinks about Bill O’Reilly, Ventura doesn’t mince words:
He’s a spineless puke.
That’s what I’d call him as a Navy Seal. First of all, the whole Fox won’t have me on. The nighttime guys. I call them the three stooges, and we all know which one’s Curly. If Glenn Beck isn’t Curly Howard’s kid, legit or illegit…I view him and Hannity and them as the Three Stooges, because if they can’t intimidate you, they won’t have you on.
