Iran has unveiled its latest drone. The Fortros is missile equipped and has a range of 1,200 miles, putting Israel well within strike range. Tel Aviv is 985 miles from Tehran.
With Benjamin Netanyahu stepping up the rhetoric and insisting that Israel WILL strike Iran if it deems it necessary, it looks like Iran is getting prepared for the possibility of military action.
Mohammed Gehgan, Iranian Defense Minister said yesterday:
“The Fotros drone has an operational range of 2,000 kilometers and can fly at an altitude of 25,000 feet, with a flight time of 16 to 30 hours.
The aircraft was tested successfully and shows that sanctions imposed by the enemies are not an obstacle to the progress of the defense industry,”
Netanyahu is becoming more and more vocal regarding the situation in Iran. He has repeatedly said that talks and reductions in the sanctions against the country are bad ideas.
