Incoming CME Will Just Miss Earth Feb 12th

A smallish CME  (coronal Mass ejection) could  deliver a glancing blow to Earth on February 12th. Those in high altitudes may get to see the auroras if the CME catches the atmosphere as it moves just north of us. The solar wind blowing from a coronal hole on the Sun’s surface is travelling at 800km/s on its trip from the Sun.
