Graphic Video: Man Attempts Suicide by Jumping Naked into Lion Den at the Zoo

There are lots of ways to commit suicide, but one of the most painful, drawn-out and violent ways has to be the one this guy chose.

After writing a suicide note, a 20-year-old went to the Santiago Zoo, broke into the lion den, stripped naked, and basically offered himself up as dinner to the lions.

The lions began mauling the man in front of all the families with children visiting the zoo that day, as he apparently was counting on them to do.

Zoo authorities attempted to tranquilize the animals, but they could not get a fast enough acting one in time, and they accidentally hit the man himself with a tranquilizing dart. Two lions, a male and a female, were shot and killed in an attempt to get them to stop. The man was rushed to the hospital where he is reportedly in grave condition.

Witnesses claim the man was shouting religious stuff the whole time.
