Fourth Amendment Dead in Los Angeles

Respect for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is dead. In fact, awareness of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the once hallowed principles of natural rights, the right to be left alone unless one poses a threat to others, and respect for the individual are long gone.

Fourth Amendment Dead in Los Angeles

In Los Angeles, and much of the rest of the country, the Fourth Amendment is irrelevant. In the video below, a Los Angeles cop threatens to search a rental car because she has an issue with its “tatted up” occupants. She has not witnessed a crime, does not have probable cause, but wants to search the car because she has an emotional issue with the driver and his passenger.

This is America, circa 2013. Respect for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights is dead. In fact, awareness of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the once hallowed principles of natural rights, the right to be left alone unless one poses a threat to others, and respect for the individual are long gone.

Note: the video contains explicit language, mostly on the part of the cop. Except for the blue uniform, she is indistinguishable from any other territorial and tribal gang-banger in South Central Los Angeles.
