Eighteen year old Adel Daoud, an American citizen who lives in the Chicago suburb of Hillside, unknowingly chatted with FBI agents online after he called for the killing of Americans.

The FBI set up a sting operation by introducing Daoud to what he believed was another terrorist living in New York.

After several months of planning, Daoud reportedly attempted to set off the bomb and was immediately arrested by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
