A new study from the Oxford Journal Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience suggests that watching or playing violent video games leads to desensitization in teens. Researches found that regions of the brain responsible for emotional response became non-responsive when teens were exposed to repeated violence in media, such as video games.

Researchers concluded that exposure to aggressive media blunts emotional responses and increases aggressive behaviors in kids.
