Exit Poll: 92% of Brits Want out of EU, European Leaders Say Let Them Go

The poll results reflect a growing frustration among the British middle class.

In a series of survey’s conducted by UK media outlet, the Daily Express, an overwhelming majority support a British exit of the European Union (EU).

The official question asked was, “Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?”

In the exclusively online poll, 63,275 out of the 68,777 participants, 92 percent, voted to leave the 28-member bloc. In a separate phone poll conducted through the outlets physical newspaper, 99 percent of their readers said they did not trust Prime Minister David Cameron’s latest renegotiation deal with the EU, which would still provide migrants with paid benefits, not return border control, and fail to guarantee the restoration of Parliament’s sovereignty.

The poll results reflect a growing frustration among the British middle class, only fueled by the admission by the national Home Office that the number of people claiming asylum in the UK rose by almost 50 percent last summer.
