Armageddon Scenarios

Do You Realize if Jeb or Hillary Wins, It Could Be 30+ Years of Bushes and Clintons in the White House?

It will somehow come down to America being forced to put a Bush or a Clinton back in the White House, and quite likely the “choice” will be between one or the other.

Ever since 1980 (except for a brief pause from 2013 to now) there’s been a Bush or a Clinton in the White House.

1980-1988: George H.W. Bush, Vice President
1988-1992: George H.W. Bush, President
1992-2000: Bill Clinton, President
2000-2008: George W. Bush, President
2008-2013: Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State for Barack Obama

In every presidential election from 1980 to 2008, a Bush or a Clinton was attempting to get into the White House.

Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby summed it up well:

There are nearly 80 million families in the United States, according to the Census Bureau. Are American voters so lacking in resourcefulness that they have to keep going back to the same two families to find a president?

And now, the American people are facing an election where Hillary Clinton is running against Jeb Bush for president. Should one of them win (and the game has obviously been rigged in favor of our two unofficial dynasties), and should that person get two terms, it’ll officially be 28 of the 36 years between 1989 and 2025.

You watch. As many of us have been calling for years now going into this election year, it will somehow come down to America being forced to put a Bush or a Clinton back in the White House, and quite likely the “choice” will be between one or the other.

(And don’t forget, Jeb’s son George P. Bush has been being groomed for the presidency since he was like eight years old…)
