Sociopaths are running the government. Let’s define who qualifies for the special privilege of free speech in the new media shield law.

The department in July issued new guidelines that tighten rules for when prosecutors can seek to seize journalists’ records in leak investigations.

The Judiciary Committee has now passed media shield legislation three times in recent years. Earlier efforts eventually stalled. A spokesman for Sen. Schumer said the senator was optimistic the bill would see floor action this fall. (source)
