China Demands Calm From Agitated North Korea And Trump

It’s never been assumed that we would see a nuclear conflict in our time on Earth until recently. Especially now that North Korea and United States government can’t seem to back off each other.  So in steps China with some valuable advice: “stop irritating each other.”

Thanks, China; for keeping everyone rational. The large communist country has now called for all sides in the North Korean standoff to stay calm and “stop irritating each other.” This slice of advice comes just one day after Pyongyang said the US was pushing the region closer to a nuclear war.  But both sides are obviously to blame. The United States has no reason to fear a country who is incapable of successfully testing a ballistic missile. But the little dictator in charge of communist North Korea, Kim Jong-un, feels like his ego is being threatened, so he is trying to get Donald Trump to take action. Hopefully, Trump can see past it and just let it go, but politicians seem to enjoy war.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang called the situation between the two sides “highly complex” and sensitive on Wednesday. “The urgent task is to lower temperatures and resume talks,” he told reporters.

[Kim Hong-Ji] Russia backs China’s call to stop N. Korea nuke tests in exchange for halt in US-S. Korea drills. “We again urge all relevant parties to remain calm and exercise restraint, stop irritating each other, work hard to create an atmosphere for contact and dialogue between all sides, and seek a return to the correct path of dialogue and negotiation as soon as possible,” Geng said, as quoted by Reuters. – RT

Pyongyang’s  state media accused the US of reckless military provocation which is pushing the region closer to the brink of nuclear war,” after more US bombers completed drills in the region. But with tensions continuing to rise in the conflict, neither side shows any sign of “calming down” and there’s been no effort to “stop irritating each other.” In fact, the opposite appears to be true. Both sides are doing everything they can to cause conflict and push into an unnecessary war.

President Trump, who has stated that a major, major conflict could be a reality between the two sides has also said that the US shouldn’t be announcing all our moves.” But maybe he didn’t mean the blatant show of force that bombers completing drills over North Korea signaled. It is a chess game. I just don’t want people to know what my thinking is,” he told CBS on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to remain in close contact with other leaders across the region and is not doing a superb job of announcing his moves, the very thing he said he wouldn’t want to do. Trump is in part to blame for continued war tensions in the Koren Penninsula.
