China conducted a second test on its Dong Feng-41 missile system on Friday officials have said.

Dong Feng-41 are road mobile intercontinental ballistic missiles    (ICBM). US intelligence believes they will each be fitted with up to 10 independently-targetable re-entry vehicles.

On December 5th  a Chinese war ship and USS Cowpens came close to a collision in the South China Sea which heightened tensions between the nations.
