Carly Fiorina Announces POTUS Bid, and the Internet Speaks

Carly Fiorina, destructive former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, announced her POTUS bid today. The Internet does not approve.

Make more room in the Campaign Clown Car! In case you missed it, another candidate announced their 2016 POTUS run today.

Carly Fiorina, former tyrant CEO of Hewlett-Packard, said she’s throwing her hat in the ring, and The Internet spoke.

Fiorina probably doesn’t like what it has to say.

The first is quite a doozy. You see, Fiorina likes to talk about how her business experience would make her a good president, but…her tenure at HP was fraught with problems. Serious problems.

She made a big mistake that is not uncommon among politicians these days…

Fiorina and her campaign neglected to register CarlyFiorina.org, and the site has become a soapbox highlighting her tragic tenure as CEO of Hewlett-Packard.

The website is simple, saying “Carly Fiorina failed to register this domain. So I’m using it to tell you how many people she laid off at Hewlett-Packard. It was this many:” followed by 30,000 🙁 emoji.

After scrolling through the acres of sad faces, the website concludes “That’s 30,000 people she laid off. People with families. And what does she say she would have done differently? ‘I would have done them all faster.’ —Carly Fiorina” (source)

Oops.

She joins the ranks of Hillary Clinton and Ted Cruz, who both failed to buy domains associated with their names and have suffered the consequences. The domain HillaryForPresident.com takes you to a conservative site that is actually called The American, and TedCruz.com is a pro-Obama immigration website.

Fiorina was fired from HP in 2005. Her tenure at HP is widely regarded as a huge failure, and some have ranked her among the worst performing CEOs.

Business Insider reports that Jeffrey Sonnenfeld of Yale University said Fiorina earned a place among “the worst because of her ruthless attack on the essence of this great company. She destroyed half the wealth of her investors and yet still earned almost $100 million in total payments for this destructive reign of terror.”

Yet, Fiorina’s actual campaign website briefly touches on her time at HP, saying “her record as CEO speaks for itself.”

You can’t make this stuff up.

Fortunately, alert Twitter Tweeters are speaking up about Fiorina…

…and preparation for the 2016 circus continues…
