Border Patrol Admits Feds are Under-Reporting Illegal Immigration

It’s safe to say that none of the numbers we’re hearing can be trusted.

President Obama often likes to downplay the situation along our southern border, and says that there’s nothing worry about. Claims like that are often backed up by statistics that show the number of illegal immigrants crossing into the US are down, or that the border hasn’t been this secure in decades. However, just because the number of illegal alien apprehensions is down, doesn’t necessarily mean that the number of people sneaking it our country has diminished.

Case in point, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, Brandon Judd, recently made a startling admission during a House Committee hearing on Tuesday. He claims to have witnessed U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials faking apprehension statistics by under-reporting the number of illegal aliens who the border patrol fail to catch. It’s safe to say that none of the numbers we’re hearing can be trusted. We just don’t know how many illegals are in this country, or how many are arriving here every day.

But that wasn’t his only shocking claim. Judd said that the Obama Administration is not telling the American public about how many illegal aliens are coming from countries with “known terrorist ties or from countries that compete economically with our interests.” Specifically, he pointed out that the number of people sneaking into our country from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and China, have skyrocketed over the past year.

“Already in the first five months of this fiscal year, the United States Border Patrol has arrested 18 from Afghanistan…79 from Pakistan and 619 from the Peoples Republic of China.”
