Who knows why Jared Price was driving around in the vehicle pictured above: a car with no doors, no windows, and no windshield.

Maybe he enjoys feeling the breeze as he cruises around Wethersfield, New York.

Perhaps he wants a Jeep, but cannot afford one, so he decided to make his own version.

The part that I can’t really wrap my head around, though, is the AX that is sticking out of the roof of the car. Maybe he used it to try to cut a sunroof into the vehicle, but gave up, or the ax got stuck?

The car looks a bit familiar, actually…

Someone called to report the “suspicious” vehicle, and Price was given field sobriety tests, on which he “performed poorly,” police said. He was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, driving while ability impaired by the combined influence of drugs and numerous traffic infractions, including operating a vehicle without insurance.

The car was impounded. Wonder how much they’ll get if they auction that one off…
