After Cops Failed, This Dad Went ‘Catch a Predator’ and Caught the Man Molesting His Daughter

Had Brandon waited for police action, his daughter could have suffered even more and Foster would have likely slipped through the legal cracks.

Lorena, TX — In 2014, Brandon and Leone Moore found out that a man, who their 14-year-old daughter worked for, had been molesting her — repeatedly. After finding out this devastating news, they did what society and the government say they are supposed to do — call the police.

However, police, apparently having more important things to do other than investigate the repeated rape of a child by an adult, told the distraught parents that it could take months to investigate the alleged crimes.

“We thought they were going to go arrest him right away,” Brandon said in an interview with the Daily Beast. “I was shocked. I thought for sure they’d go put him in jail and hold him. But they said in cases like this, ‘If we don’t do our homework, he could walk.’”

As the Free Thought Project has reported extensively, police departments have no incentive to investigate real crimes as there is no money in arresting a rapist. Drug arrests are far more profitable. According to the Department of Justice, there are currently over 400,000 untested rape kits collecting dust in police evidence rooms nationwide, and many other estimates suggest that this number could be as high as one million.

As a result of this horrific negligence, roughly 3% of rape cases in America are actually solved. This is in spite of the fact that many rape kits have a high chance of leading to an arrest since most rapists are career criminals who have their DNA on file.

After coming to the realization that police were going to be no help in catching their daughter’s abuser, Brandon, who says he’s never seen NBC’s ‘To Catch a Predator’, came up with a plan to nab this sicko.

The predator to be caught was Sean Foster, and the Moore’s 14-year-old daughter Madalyn was working for him at his pool company.

Moore’s plan was to text Foster from his daughter’s phone and ask him to come pick her up. Moore told Foster that “she” was still in the shower and to pick “her” up for work in 15 minutes. Immediately after the text was sent, Foster called Brandon to make sure he wasn’t home and then drove over.

Brandon locked the front door, turned on the shower, sat in a dark room and waited, knowing, after what his daughter had told him, that this pedophile would come in.

“If he wasn’t a creep or a jerk, he would’ve pulled into the driveway and honked or knocked on the door,” Brandon said. But that is not what happened. After he found the front door locked, Foster went around to the backyard and came in through that door.

Foster then went into Madalyn’s room first before he heard the shower running and entered the bathroom.

“I thought you showered yesterday,” Foster said as he pulled the curtain back. That’s when Brandon burst into the bathroom recording. Below is that recording.

“What the fuck are you doing?! What have you done to her?!” Brandon screams.

“I haven’t done anything to her!” Foster says.

“You fucking get down right now! You fucking touch a 14-year-old girl! While I’m in the fucking hospital! You’re lucky I don’t fucking kill you!” Brandon said as he referenced the first time his daughter told them about Foster molesting her as he was in the hospital after an aneurysm.

“It was between four and five minutes that I had to keep taking him down” until police arrived, Brandon told The Daily Beast. “He shoved me off of him and went running to the front door, so I tackled him from behind and choked him and kneed him in the face until police got there.

“I beat him up pretty bad,” Brandon remembered. “By the time police arrived, my foot was swelling up from kicking him.”

The above audio was played during Foster’s trial two weeks ago in Texas. A jury sentenced him to serve 55 years in prison on six charges, including burglary, three counts of indecency with a child by contact, and two counts of indecency with a child by exposure. Foster was also fined $40,000, according to the Waco Tribune-Herald.

Police Chief Tom Dickson told Brandon that his actions had “a dramatic effect” on speeding up the case, but noted that others definitely shouldn’t try this same approach.

“We certainly don’t recommend this. When people are under high emotions and stress, sometimes they don’t make the best judgment call… We certainly could’ve been working an aggravated assault out of this or possibly a homicide.

“Of course, I understand. Being a father myself, if my daughter’s affected, you want justice and you want immediate justice,” Dickson added. “But obviously I would’ve rather him waited for the police to do the investigation.”

However, had Brandon waited for police action, his daughter could have suffered even more and Foster would have likely slipped through the legal cracks.

Perhaps the most disturbing part of this story, outside of this sicko’s behavior, is the fact that had Brandon told the police that Foster was in possession of marijuana instead of claiming he molested his daughter, police would have likely taken immediate action.
