#7NamesFor7NewPlanets: NASA Asks Twitter for Name Ideas and the Responses Are Great
NASA asked Twitter for name suggestions for 7 newly discovered planets, and Twitter delivered.
Astronomers recently confirmed that an “ultra cool dwarf” star 40 light-years away from Earth called Trappist-1, although not particularly active, has seven Earth-sized planets revolving around it.
A few days ago, NASA asked Twitter for name suggestions for the new planets, and Twitter delivered.
