2016 Presidential Campaign Catastrophe: Joe Biden Says “there’s no obvious reason for me why I think I should not run”

If the anticipation of this potential humiliation for the country doesn’t send chills of horror down your spine, nothing will.

In an interview with CNN yesterday, the consistently embarrassing Vice President Biden said, “There may be reasons I don’t run, but there’s no obvious reason for me why I think I should not run.”

Biden has run for president twice previously. In 1988, he withdrew because of accusations of plagiarism. In 2008, he withdrew to run on the ticket with Barack Obama.

Biden, aged 71, says his decision whether or not to run in 2016 will be based on “whether I am the best-qualified person to focus on the two things I’ve spent my whole life on: giving ordinary people a fighting chance to make it, and a sound foreign policy that’s based on rational interests of the United States, where we’re not only known for the power of our military but the power of our example.”

“Doesn’t mean I’m the only guy that can do it, but if no one else I think can, and I think I can, then I’d run,” he added. “If I don’t, I won’t.”

We need only look back at Biden’s bizarre performance in the Vice Presidential debate for a glimpse at what 4 years under his leadership would mean. Some experts chimed in, suggestion that Biden might be suffering from the early stages of dementia, so odd was his behavior.
