Jail-handcuffs

In the fall of 2016, voters in Florida approved the sale of medical marijuana…but that isn’t stopping cops in the state from busting people for possession and bragging about it on social media.

Meanwhile, there are nearly 10,000 women in Florida who are still waiting for justice in their rape cases, as their rape kits remain unprocessed.

A simple matter of police priorities. Busting someone for possession of MJ is much easier and a lot more profitable than catching a rapist. Gotta keep those statistics up so they can get more federal funding for enforcement, dontcha know.

Low-hanging fruit is the easiest for lazy people to harvest.

The average tax leech is a slob – uniform pants are made in size 68!

As another person commented, it’s low hanging fruit. The cops make a profit from these petty drug busts, but it costs them money to process these rape kits. And after they process the rape kits, they are then tasked with finding the person responsible for the rape. It’s a lot of work for no profit to the police department.
The cops are not there to “protect and serve”. They are there to generate revenue for the state and to clean up after a crime has taken place, and then file a report. They have no way of protecting the general public from criminals, unless they just happen to run into a criminal or a crime in progress. Most police work other than traffic stops and speeding tickets involves detectives solving crimes that have already happened. Very little, if any, police work is devoted to crime prevention.
This is why people need to provide their own security. And this is why it’s so frustrating when politicians make laws that inhibit or prevent citizens from carrying a firearm, knife, tazer, pepper spray, etc to defend themselves with.
They (the government) make it almost impossible for citizens to defend themselves against criminals, either with gun control laws or laws that protect the criminal at the expense of the innocent. There are some ridiculous laws that protect criminals from their intended victims by putting people in jail for shooting someone who breaks into their home or allowing a criminal to sue a homeowner if they are injured during a robbery or burglary. These laws put innocent people at a serious disadvantage when trying to defend themselves or protect themselves and their families against criminals.
I couldn’t believe it when I first heard that a criminal could sue the homeowner if they break into your house and then trip and fall on a lumpy carpet or loose step or you injure them while defending yourself from them during a robbery or burglary. It’s absolutely unbelievable that politicians would allow such an injustice to occur.
And it’s equally unbelievable that we the people would allow such a politician to continue to hold office after passing such a law. Somebody like that should be put in jail along with the criminals who commit these crimes.
And when these politicians allow the police to waste their time and resources to arrest people for such petty victimless things while important things like unprocessed rape kits sit collecting dust, it’s just as wrong as those laws that protect the criminals while hurting innocent victims. In fact, letting these rape kits sit there without being processed is basically protecting the criminals. Because as long as those kits are untouched, there are potential rapists roaming the streets and putting people in danger.

  • I’ve always wanted to try LSD, meth, and weed; I feel that it could elevate me to a higher state of consciousness. Perhaps I may be able to discover who I am.

    • It is not Paranoia

I wouldn’t recommend meth, but LSD and weed can give you so much insight into yourself.

But I’m not in any way recommending using drugs, because drugs are baaad mmkay? And also illegal!!1!
      😉

      • Thank you. I’ll have to travel to another country to experience it, probably Spain or the Netherlands.

if your heart is that chickenshit, do not bother, lsd and pot will only provide enough truth to fuck you up.
as for pot, you need go no further than washington st., colorado or a number of other states where its usage is now legal. but you already knew that didn’t you?

          • I never said I was chickenshit. I knew that was legal in other states, but I don’t know if it’s really worth it to try here without attracting the attention of the pigs.

as long as you do not overtly broadcast your intentions or light up a joint while sitting on the fender of a police cruiser, you will be fine. just another grain of sand on the beach.
if you are seriously thinking about lsd, enlist the aid of a veteran user and do not use it alone or in the company of the non-initiated.
if you get real lsd in its purest possible form, you should experience a fairly gentle trip to a foreign place.
if it is badly cut street meds, it can be a 3 or 4 hour bull ride.
best to try pot several times before going to lsd. you will being more in tuned to the attitude adjustment. not so much shock.
now on with ya laddie, have yer fun 🙂

          • Nice. Thank you very much for the advice.

THE GUIDANCE COUNSELOR ON SP!!! what was his name?

    • g.johnon

funny how you stuck meth into the same group as lsd and pot. you could definitely use a higher state of consciousness.
lsd would be too much for you. but weed could be very helpful.

      • Thank you. If you don’t mind elaborating, what is wrong with meth?

        • g.johnon

aside from the fact that it destroys tissue and obliterates the immune system and does in fact kill while rendering the regular user non compos mentos? did i really need to explain that to you? or are did you just think you were baiting me somehow?

          • Calm down. I was just asking a simple question.

          • g.johnon

i am quite calm mr. mystery, that was the simple answer.

          • No formalities, please. Thank you for clearing things up. 🙂

Trying meth isn’t too bad – as long as you don’t continue.
If only you could have gotten a hold of the old P-2 speed from the 70s. . .

LSD can be very enlightening and expanding, if you do it either alone in a “happy place,” or with someone you trust explicitly.

Weed is just amazing from start to finish.

      • Awesome. During my travels all across the United States, I will surely be able to acquire some.
