“You Can Take That To The Bank You Miserable Son Of A Bitch…” (An Open Letter to Obama’s Deficit Commission)

In light of the economic collapse taking place in the United States and across the world, it is important for us to realize that people of all walks of like are seeing their life savings wiped away and the promises made to them by their governments being broken.
Whether you are a college student who thought your Master’s degree would land you a high paying job, a thirty something former manager of a Fortune 500 company now looking for anything that will cover the bills, or a senior citizen depending on Social Security to support you during retirement, you are on the front lines of the fallout.
Patty Myers, is just such a person, and she has had enough. She reportedly sent a letter to President Obama’s Deficit Commission co-chaired by former Senator Alan Simpson from Wyoming. In an April 2012 exchange, Simpson lambasted senior citizens and referred to them as “Greedy Geezers”:
The letter, dated April 7, scolds the “wretched group of seniors” and “greedy geezers” for including the faces of young people on its fliers.
“You must feel some sense of shame for shoveling out this…,” Simpson wrote. “Read the latest news from the Social Security trustees. The Social Security system will now ‘hit the skids’ in 2033 instead of 2036. If you can’t understand all of this you need a pane of glass in your naval [sic] so you can see out during the day!” (source)

We would venture a guess that, no matter what your background or current situation, no matter how old you are, you would have similar words for our elected politicians.
Here’s the letter attributed to Ms. Myers, made available via ColoradoGold.com:
“Hey Alan, let’s get a few things straight. As a career politician, you have been on the public dole for FIFTY YEARS. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 years (since I was 15, and am now 63). My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades, until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes. This bankrupted the system, and turned Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud.
“Recently, just like Charlie Brown and Lucy, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement age, and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65, to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission are proposing to move the goalposts YET AGAIN.
“Myself, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from day one, and now you and your moronic compatriots, propose to change the rules of the game. Why? because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent, that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills, and you have spent more than any administration in history.
“We have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately, that you just keep on spending, even after you ran out of money to spend. Now, you come to the American Taxpayers, and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt, not ours. To add insult to injury, you label us as “greedy” for calling BS on your incompetence. Well, Captain BS, I have a few questions for YOU.
“(1) How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during your pathetic 50 year political career?
“(2) At what age did you retire from your pitiable political career, and how much are you receiving in annual retirement benefits from the American taxpayers?
“(3) How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?
“(4) What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcare benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?
“It is you, Captain BS, and your political co-conspirators called ‘Congress,’ who are the greedy ones. It is You and your fellow nut cases, who have bankrupted America and stolen the American Dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes! That’s right, sir. You and yours, have bankrupted America for the sole purpose of advancing your dismal political careers. You know it, and you know that we know it. You can take that to the bank, you miserable son of a bitch.”

We-as taxpayers-should immediately stop all of the Senate and Congressmen from serving more than one (1) term! Barbara Boxer: that corrupt, botoxed,old hag who represents part of my state, has never had it so good. Nor have any of them: private cars with chauffeur, tax payer provided planes at “our” expense, all the right invitations for parties, dinners, opening nights, etc. Living Large with funds provided by the American Idiot Taxpayers. The Elites make a lifetime career by sucking the lifeblood out of us-all in the name of “fairness” or “taking care of the poor”. I think it is more than time to clean out, clean up, and lock up these imbeciles.

I don’t propose a federal budget. The President does. I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. I don’t write the tax code, Congress does. I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does. I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does. One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country. I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress in 1913, and has yet to be corrected!!! Although the Federal Reserve Board is peppered with Low Life Criminals that you allow to stay in power. And why $$$$
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he/she votes. This in itself speaks loudly of the lack of quality people we have in POLITICS. Does it not?
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it’s because YOU want it unfair. If the budget is in the red, it’s because YOU want it in the red. If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it’s because YOU want them in Iraq and Afghanistan.
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the TAX PAYING CITIZENS, it’s because they want it that way. By the way you politicians are the people who put social security into General Revenue and then robbed us blind, and now you just keep raising the age for the citizens to draw their SS.
Tired of being a puppet for the Elite? Then grow a set of BALLS and do the RIGHT THING.

Did you hear now if you are in the hospital for anything they can keep you for days and call it observation. You will be billed thousands of dollars as it will not be covered by medicare.

If you received a copy of a letter written by a Patty Myers, please know that it is not I who composed the letter. If you passed it on to others, please contact them and tell them that I DID NOT write the letter. While I may philosophically agree with some of it, those of you who know me should know that I would not send a letter with that language. I have too much respect for the position held by Senator Simpson and others who will put themselves out there in the political arena. I am offended by the writing.
I would recommend checking before forwarding or believing everything that you receive. If you go to Snopes.com, and ask for letter to Wyoming Senator, you will get an entry about it. It says that a “fellow from Montana” wrote the letter in 2010. At another place, it says that a fellow from Wyoming wrote it. I’m not sure when my name got inserted. But I really don’t like it. Thank you for your assistance in getting out the correct message.
