Once the ballots became virtual, so did the last, puny, withered bit of Americans’ power in their democratic process.
If Trump is not ordained by the elite who actually run this country, he won’t be allowed to be the GOP candidate. That is how it works. It doesn’t matter if everyone and their grandma likes and wants to vote for Trump. If Trump isn’t part of the “in-crowd” he will not get in. Period.
While his Clinton ties and flip flopping still stand out as reasons to question his authenticity, it cannot be ignored that the elite running the show have publicly lined up against Trump, sometimes in hilarious ways. A former CIA director is making threats like the military will refuse to take orders if Trump is elected president. They tried to corner Trump on the KKK and use it make him out to be a white supremacist. He’s also been compared to Hitler. Major leaders of countries from all across the globe who normally stay (at least publicly) mum on America’s presidential elections are coming out against Trump. The New World Pope, in what has to be one of the most hypocritical stances yet, came out against Trump. The Council on Foreign relations has too, while putting their full support behind Hillary who is clearly the elite’s choice for America’s next chairman of the board.
But how are they going to sell Hillary to a people willing to overlook Trump’s every flaw and crown him president just because they are so utterly fed up with our corrupt, bought out government they will take anyone who speaks out and stands up against it?
Short answer? They aren’t. They know without a real good plan, they can’t sell Hillary to America. Not after eight years of Obama, and especially not after Benghazi. They can’t and they obviously know it.
Now, top GOP leaders have gotten so desperate, they held a secret meeting at a private island with the leaders of top tech companies like Apple to come up with a plan to get rid of Trump:
Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder Larry Page, Napster creator and Facebook investor Sean Parker, and Tesla Motors and SpaceX honcho Elon Musk all attended. So did Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), political guru Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news by saying he “cannot support Donald Trump.”
Along with Ryan, the House was represented by Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Fred Upton (Mich.), Rep. Kevin Brady (Texas) and almost-Speaker Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), sources said, along with leadership figure Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Wash.), Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price (R-Ga.), Financial Services Committee Chairman Jeb Hensarling (Texas) and Diane Black (Tenn.).
Philip Anschutz, the billionaire GOP donor whose company owns a stake in Sea Island, was also there, along with Democratic Rep. John Delaney, who represents Maryland. Arthur Sulzberger, the publisher of The New York Times, was there, too, a Times spokeswoman confirmed.
Anyway, the meeting was officially part of the American Enterprise Institute’s annual World Forum, but it’s closed-to-the-press (except for the fact that the topic was about ousting Trump, apparently, which they are making sure gets publicized everywhere). It happened here:
Apple, Facebook and Google where there? You don’t say. You mean… they might possibly… alter the information people get online about Trump or, say, censor negative information about Hillary? Nah, our benevolent telecommunications companies who have openly worked with the NSA surveillance state for years to help the government unconstitutionally spy on its own citizens would never do something like that, would they?
To that end, the fact that the publisher of The New York Times — an outlet that has consistently attended Bildberberg since way back in the day, is little more than a PR firm when it comes to Hillary these days, and loves to produce hit pieces on Trump — was there isn’t surprising.
In fact, none of it is really all that surprising if the elite are really freaking out like it would appear they are.
The elite are scared of Trump, but not for the reason everyone believes they are…
More on that later. The GOP is conspiring against it’s own political process here. Openly.
In doing so, the average Joe’s conservative “leaders” are blatantly conspiring against him and the American people’s votes, against their wishes about who the Republican nominee should be, against who they want to vote for as president. The elite GOP is thus conspiring against the American plebs, and they’re doing it with the elite heads of tech companies and the mainstream press.
Just think about that for a second.
That’s where we’re at America.
