Colonel Gulmorod Khalimov, the commander of Tajikistan’s special police force, announced on YouTube yesterday that he has now defected to ISIS. He disappeared last month, only to reappear this week in a 10 minute video, where he condemned the United States and Russia, as well as his country’s current regime.

Khalimov was in charge of Tajikistan’s OMON, an elite police force that emerged in several Soviet republics in the 1980’s, and is comparable to America’s SWAT teams or Germany’s GSG-9. They’re responsible for counter-terror operations, crowd control, and VIP protection. He was apparently trained by Russian Spetsnaz and American special forces. In the video he proclaimed “Listen, you American pigs, I’ve been three times to America, and I saw how you train fighters to kill Muslims… God willing, I will come with this weapon to your cities, your homes, and we will kill you.”

Khalimov is one of many foreign fighters who were trained by the United States Military to fight our government’s enemies, only to defect to ISIS. He’s a perfect example of what happens when the US tries to meddle in the affairs of foreign countries, by training violent extremists to do their bidding. As to whether or not Khalimov is still serving America’s efforts to destabilize the Middle East, you decide.

    I call BS. just look at the bio on this guy just from this article, trained in Russia and America? Hmmm…sure looks like the resume of a spook to me. I guess they did not think he looked enough like a Muslim even with the beard so they came up with this fantastical story.         IKR. And those photos are so obviously posed only an idiot (average American) couldn’t see this is all a production. Really, they could’ve gotten some Hollywood directors to make it look more believable — like they did with Kubrick back in the day — but I suppose they figured that wasn’t necessary.

    But seriously, you know of my mission to keep up what I do.
    I question the vow this freak made. Vows always end with “so help me God” because it is taken for granted you are at risk of stumbling and falling. God’s help keeps you on the Straight and Narrow and an atheist may substitute the word “The Universe” and he is making the same vow.
    I uphold to serve my country right or wrong and would do anything to assist any friendly country my own leaders have decided to support.
    Iran not included but I admire recent efforts and better wishes from many unexpected quarters. Cuba also now enjoying revised world status.
    I won’t say the vow I vowed because it is now boring LOL.
    But like I said, support may come from the most unexpected quarters.

    You know, there are 1.57 billion muslims in the world – of which 99% are peaceful – according to Obumhole, which leaves 1% not peaceful. That tiny little insignificant 1% is 15,700,000 of them.
