US Just Dropped Largest Non-Nuclear Bomb They Have in Afghanistan for the First Time Ever — Test for North Korea?

The US just dropped a $15-million-dollar, 30-foot-long, 21,000 lb. Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB) bomb for the first time ever on what the Pentagon claims is a system of ISIS tunnels and caves on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The MOAB has also been dubbed “the mother of all bombs” due to the fact that it is the largest non-nuclear bomb in America’s arsenal. The GPS-guided bomb is said to create a mist of ammonium nitrate and powdered aluminum which it then ignites in an explosion so big, it kills anything within several hundred meters, even knocking over tanks like tinker toys.

The bomb left a one-mile-wide blast zone in its wake. The Pentagon claims great care was taken to minimize civilian casualties, but we all know what that means by now.

Again, this is the first time this massive bomb has been used in combat ever. With warships positioning themselves around North Korea at this very moment, and now this, the North Korean government has begun evacuating 600,000 from Pyongyang and warning its citizens that there won’t be enough shelters for everyone.

Many people are speculating the MOAB drop in Afghanistan was just a real-world test for the upcoming strike against North Korea. Seems like the North Koreans know it, too.

PS – According to the Bible (and Wikipedia), Moab and Ammon were born to Lot and Lot’s elder and younger daughters, respectively, in the aftermath of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. The Bible refers to both the Moabites and Ammonites as Lot’s sons, born of incest with his daughters (Genesis 19:37-38).

    I wouldn’t doubt it at all. The 600,000 “evacuated” is reported to be undesirables living in the city. So who knows? Might be using the flair up just to get them out of town. Then again maybe not.

    The media is yelling “run for your lives”! and acting like its a nuke,
    for fucks sake……it’s a big bomb to be sure, but it also has the same
    yield as a stick of ten mark 84’s too, so while it’s sensational, it’s
    really not that big of a deal. It’s used primarily for massive blast
    over pressure which can exceed 55000 pounds per square inch and pretty
    much ruin everything within a 1000 foot radius. The stock market
    pussies are listening to the media and it’s tanking, people are
    screaming…..what a huge bunch of ignorant pussies. I’ll bet this was
    designed for fat boy’s edification…..and ISIS just got a lesson in
    explosions. Fuck em! Kill them all!

      Any ISIS or other headrag-wearing schmoes anywhere near the blast radius of the MOAB had a (short-lived) front-row seat for the show. I’d like to see the BDA, photos and site report, to see how effective it was against the un-hardened caves in those mountains. If would be a useful, but not definitive, indicator of how effective it MAY be against hardened KN bunkers – designed to take direct hits from nukes. Taking KN by force is a misguided venture; but isolating, containing, and watching them (i.e.: Kim Jong Un) shrivel and beg for forgiveness would be the less destructive long game. It’s going to take the coordinated defection and up-rising of multiple KN senior military leaders to have an epiphany and over-throw Kim – either imprisoning him or killing him, to walk this situation down to a manageable level to transition KN into an “open” nation.

        I’ve made $84,000 so far this year working online and I’m a full time student. I’m using an online business opportunity I heard about and I’ve made such great money. It’s really user friendly and I’m just so happy that I found out about it. The potential with this is endless. Here’s what I do

    Let’s evaluate the psychosomatic thought processes, philosophy and inherent actions of ‘Lil Kim’;

    1. Reportedly executed members of his related family and fed them to the dogs;
    2. Executed a General via an Anti-Aircraft gun;
    3. Continues to escalate tensions w/ missile testing;
    4. China is now backing away from supporting Lil Kim;
    5. China is now backing away from support of Russia with regards to Syria;

    Lil Kim was ‘educated’ in the west, and cannot discern ethics and moral actions on a western basis of thought; it has become clouded with the environment in which he was groomed for.

    This leads on to 600,000 being supposedly evacuated from Pyongyang. These could be, as previously suggested via Infowars, those who Lil Kim has deemed to be ‘political enemies’ or ‘enemies of the state’. However,

    In Xenu fashion, let’s wait & see IF these 600,000 are marched off to an area where a nuclear bomb will be detonated, executing the ‘enemies of the state’ en-masse!

      Light that punk up, way overdue.

    BTW, the largest non-nuke was the 22,000 pound Grand Slam bomb delivered by RAF Lancaster Bombers in WWll

  • TrevorD

    Great…..More death and destruction but on a bigger scale. We should be dancing in the street at such wonderful news.
    What a sick world…..

  • freefall

    Now we test our bombs on other countries. Probably creates jobs by building more. Waiting for the nukes. What an incredible display of insanity.

  • Carlos Jurew

    That was a Tactical Nuke (by any other name)

  • Well, we’re fucked.
