The photo shown above was taken by a subscriber in the city of Crookston, MN from the front porch of her suburban home. Â No, the men pictured arenât from the local high schoolâs J.R.O.T.C sqaud â they are in fact trained soldiers serving in the Minnessota National Guard, Unit 2-136 CAB / B Company. Now, I have never personally been to Crookston (although Iâm sure itâs lovely), but Iâm relatively confident that they are located on domestic soil, and unless I am missing something, the citizens of Crookston werenât dealing with any natural disaster at the time this haunting snapshot into the coming police state was taken.
No, what was actually going on that morning was a âtraining exerciseâ involving a quiet neighborhood that probably isnât that different from your own. Being the patriot that she is, Maggie decided it might be a good idea to start asking some questions. Nothing too difficult, mainly just what the hell they were doing walking fully armed down a street regularly used to facilitate the innocent pastimes of all American kids.
Glancing at her briefly one Soldier responded, âJust training Maâam. Joining up with another patrol at the rally point.â
Not accepting this as a reasonable answer to her inquiry, Magge went on, âOh, ok. What are you training on the streets of town for exactly?â
At that the young soldier replied, âTo be honest maâam, I donât know.â
The reason for his domestic training exercise that morning might be unknown to him, but sadly this is not only just another indicator of the uncertain times ahead, but also a revealing indicator of how worried the Feds are of a possible outbreak of civil insurrections across the nation.
A few weeks back, I wrote a short piece detailing a few disturbing government purchases, including 450 million rounds of hollow point bullets (keep in mind the total population of the U.S. is 311,591,917), reinforced vehicle check-points, and hundreds of armored âcivil-tanksâ by the Department of Homeland Security. Around the same time, the U.S Army was stockpiling anti-radiation pills and our President was issuing executive orders that essentially would eliminate the requirement of an actual emergency to declare Martial Law and seize any goods or property it deems necissary including authorizing forced labor of the citizens.
With this recent development, it is becoming increasingly apparent that a violent scenario has the potential of manifesting in the country I love â the country I would give my life to preserve for my younger countrymen, and since hollow point bullets are specifically designed to kill, the state has made itsâ position alarmingly clear.
Well let me make myself clear: I would gladly die on my feet rather than live on my knees.

We will need to become seriously alarmed when the National Guard from OTHER STATES are found “patrolling” in your streets. Obama and Holder know that it may not work out well for them to expect NG troops to oppress the residents of the areas they live in, but that they may not have the same reluctance in other states. If that does happen (other state NG units in your area) be afraid, be very afraid!
@SKIP, This was common practice with the old Soviet era units- send the troops from Russia to the Ukraine, from Georgia to the suburbs of Moscow. They have less isue with killing or putting down civil unrest if they have no connection to the locals. I would start worrying when they set up roadblocks at night- you go to sleep and all is the same, wake up and it’s roadblocks and warrantless searchs for weapons and subversives.
@Jeff M, Right you are, all here should read “Civil War II” By Thomas Chittum and follow that with “the Turner Diaries” an all to possible scenario.
This a absolutly nothing. I’m in the Natinal Guard, not that unit, and I have been in for 23 years. I’ve gone on hundreds of road marches through town in my time. This is probubly nothing more than whats called battle focused P.T. Instead of push ups and sit ups we do road marches, I know it dosen’t seem like much but put on 30 pounds of gear walk 6 15 minute miles thats a work out. And I highly doubt they had any ammo.
@FOG
.45,
Ditto…..PT in the armory gym would get a bit old, so this was not uncommon for a change of pace….
@11 Bravo,
…and it took a two second Google search to see that there is a National Guard Armory in Crookston…..yep….just a little PT……
@FOG .45, “This is absolutely nothing.”
Said the wolf to the sheeple…
With all the preparations being taken it is impossible predetermine the place of Obama’s death. With respect for the president, all local communities should prepare graves to hold his body and to be sites to reflect on his passing.
At that the young soldier replied, âTo be honest maâam, I donât know.â
If anything that got the one soldier thinking and probably the whole unit wondering why they’re training out there without a clear-cut reason from their superiors. That’s how you have to reach them.
How come troops are never patroling or practicing in crime infested neighborhoods but seem to be in stable quiet areas?
That’s a really good question.
@Evie, They don’t want to have to use their weapons or have to USE them.
“How come troops are never patroling or practicing in crime infested neighborhoods but seem to be in stable quiet areas?”
My guess is that they were not issued any ammo and those areas are… dangerous!
The NG doing this, I do worry, but not as much as I worry when I see cop/LEO in combat gear AND ARMORED VEHICLES! Do a little snooping on the net with LEO’s take notice when you read stories, and PAY ATTENTION to the photos. I download and keep a running photo record of leo’s. Don’t worry about having to shoot a NG, worry about the power hungry LEO’s and don’t hesitate when time comes, cause they want. Become a ZOMBIE hunter, only head shots work!
Head shots might be the zombie way but a wounded comatant takes more personel to remove from the zone . bodies can be delt with later . no legs no fight , plus a screaming man can take the ooh rah out of many a soldier
@islander, My very thoughts Islander, good point. Been guilty of that myself..shooting legs I mean. A 12ga shotgun does a lot of disabling when shot at the legs men wearing body armor, it ain’t LEG armor lol. Vietnames had this awful mine called a “bouncing betty” not real powerful, but a small charge under a larger one when detonated caused the larger, shrapnel loaded one to “bounce” up about 2 feet, detonate and spray an area of about 20sqft to about waist high crippling a bunch. They learned, that if they wound one of us, they would take 5 of us out of combat. Don’t let the movies fool you, the Vietnamese were ruthless and determined troops fighting for their country as we citizens may be doing in the next few years which should give those of us that wake up and are awake time to prepare.
The final words of this article were “borrowed” from Emilliano Zapata who said “It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees”
And how true those words ring today!
I hope some of our men and women in uniform are reading these articles, and if you are, PLEASE share them with your sleeping comrades. Once they realize who and what they are preparing to fight against, they might back off and revolt by refusing to patrol and arrest their fellow countrymen.
