NOAA has stated there’s a 60% chance of geomagnetic storms when two CME’s hit the Earth’s magnetic field tonight and tomorrow. They were caused by erupting filaments on the surface of the Sun on August 6-7th.
A coronal hole has started to open on the Earth side of the Sun.
Activity is low overall with a sunspot count of 51, again very low as we head into the maximum.
