Total Smart Grid Control: “Warren Buffett Wants to Tell You When You Can Wash Your Clothes”

| |

smartgrid

Bloomberg News began its recent piece on this with the slightly different line, “Warren Buffett wants to tell you the best time to wash your clothes.”

But the article continues on with not just Buffett wanting to give you a friendly reminder of a more cost-effective time of day to use energy…

No apparently, in conjunction with Siemens AG, Buffett’s UK Northern Powergrid Holdings Company is testing a new smart-grid system that will be able to literally take control of when a homeowner can use their appliances. They are testing quote, “a so-called smart grid that has the ability to control when consumer appliances will be used in the home.”

Bloomberg is using the phrase “behavioral shift.”

Hundreds of millions of smart meters have been installed all over the globe at this point. Testing of these kinds of systems is going on right now in the U.S., United Kingdom, Australia and France among others. Some smart grid projects are using smart meter systems that send signals from every outlet in a home every fifteen seconds, essentially giving anyone sitting at the grid’s control hub a complete view of every move involving energy inside a home.

Flip on a light? Take a shower? Make a cup of coffee? Flush the toilet? Well under these smart grid systems, you are also making data and someone somewhere is going to know about it. If you use more electricity than your neighbors, well then, you are also a statistical outlier, something that has given police probable cause to randomly question people in the past on the basis they might be growing drugs in their home due their increased electricity usage…

Kinda like that Christmas song… They know when you are sleeping, they know when you’re awake…

Speaking of, they do have talking thermostats now, too. They’re supposed to be all trendy and cool. Combined with the smart grid however, and it comes off more like the super computer HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey. You go to turn on your air conditioner and hear a calm voice say, “I’m afraid I can’t let you do that, Dave…”

What about privacy? Like Bilderberg asked at their annual meeting last year, “does it exist?” (Obviously in this modern day and age of big data, the question was largely rhetorical.)

Buffett and Bloomberg, by the way, are members of the “super friends” club that billionaire Bill Gates likes to hang out with and talk overpopulation.

Smart grid technology is one more rung on the ladder to a complete technocratic slave grid where austerity and artificial scarcity rule the day.

(On a side note, they want everyone on this system to “save resources” and the planet, etc., but when someone tries to go off grid and be energy efficient on their own without a smart meter being fed to a giant database somewhere, some states have made it illegal.)

That evil old bastard can kiss my lily white a$$! I’ll scrub my cloths on a rock before any of that crap gets installed on my house.
He is one of the evil ones that needs to be defunded. Look up Berkshire Hathaway to see the businesses he owns and don’t buy his crap!

    • Maddog

The prick just bought our power grid in northern Nevada and installed “smart meters”. Ever since the excess power from my solar system no longer uploads to the grid. I requested the removal of the smart meter and will be required to pay $100 a month fee. Get ready, bad, bad times are coming. I WILL NOT BE CONTROLLED by these shitbags.

      • RebelPatriot

Evil! My head is about to explode!
We have already decided we won’t be controlled either.

      • TraditionalNaturopath

Are you sure. I am in Northern Nevada and pay $9 per month to have an analog meter. That comes to just over $100 per year. I never had the smart meter put installed in the first place. They charged me a one time fee of about $50 for a new analog meter. I’m still not happy about it and remember the letter we got from NV Energy telling us how our rates would not increase when Buffet bought the company. What a joke. By the way, I was told that the opt-out was only for 4 years. Guess I’ll be going off grid then or moving.

I see a market for smart blockers that let you use your appliances any freaking time you want just like they are intended. Sorry sob can kiss my crusty butt.

    • anonoman

Use deep-cycle marine batteries for your appliances. Charge them at night and enjoy your private life again. All their smart grid will ever see is you charging batteries!

    • Private Name

Don’t allow a “smart” meter to be installed on your property. We have the old type still and if they ever attempt to replace it, we will terminate electric service. Fuck them, fuck TV, fuck cell phones, fuck all this “modern” crap.

      • Mike

I did not have a choice, the did mine while I was at work so I could not stop them. But smart meters aside, unless I plug my appliances into the wife system they can’t cut them off or on.

When GM took the bailout money, Obama forced them to stop the development of “Fuel Cell Vehicles” in favor of the “Volt”. GM had already paid for much of the Hydrogen filling infrastructure at that time. You’re wondering what this has to do with this thread?
Had GM been able to mass produce those vehicles, it would have been an easy transition into the Home Markets, giving us the opportunity to go off the grid. GM built their Fuel Cells as a single platform, which several models could be applied to. It was about to be seriously cheapened. Point is, it would have taken “Control” from the Government and Progressive Corporations, and put it into Ma and Pa Kettle’s wheelhouse. These are the decisions being made on your behalf, and on your dime…

    • Rodney S

Gee, that’s funny. I’m working at the Detroit Auto Show and there are several hydrogen fuel cell vehicles on display, including one by GM. You better tell Obama about this right away! haha

      • whitefeather

Oh, they’re picking it back up, now that they cleared the Government Handout Hurdle. Get this, while all this was going on GM was leasing their patents to at least 4 or 5 other manufacturers, so that they could put Hydrogen ahead. BTW, if you’re paying attention (obviously you are), GM has been stomped on by the government as of late. Why do you suppose that is?

All part of the plan for a total global surveillance grid (“smart grid”). Surveillance for everyone, except for the elites, of course. Buffet won’t have to deal with these problems, of course. To totally control us they need to always know what we are doing. What control freaks!!

  • mirageseekr

Notice how all of the people who want to control how much you use have multiple mansions that they fly to in their private jets because they are too special to fly with the commoners. Notice how Bill Gates wants to control the population but yet he has 3 children. Fucking hypocrites! This is just another way to control you and everything that you do.

  • Jas

Oh please….here you are pushing the elite’s depopulation propaganda. The bread basket of the US could feed the world by itself, there is more open space out there than occupied by a large margin, why don’t you go and read your Agenda 21 talking points again you obvious troll.

  • Mamzer-11th generation

Get off the grid if able because smart grid has to happen with green energy scam

  • M Fr Nch

It is time to do more than complain about this crap. Passivity got us here and passivity will make it worse.
Do they give a shit if you live? Only as long as you pay and pay. It is time to get this country on the right track, set personal wealth limits, deport all illegals and foreign nation firsters, jail all politicians and their lackeys.
Disarm and disband the violent police forces and all the intelligence agencies.
Take the owners of the voting machine companies and let them rot in a state prison.
    And then on Tuesday….

  • Mike

    Thanks for the info.
