The Ever-Changing Vegas Narrative: Gunman Shot Security Guard Before Massacre

In the week following the Las Vegas massacre, the carefully crafted narrative presented by the mainstream media has been incredibly difficult to choke down, especially to those who constantly seek the truth. But the truth is, the narrative is changing again, and it’s becoming even more unbelievable.

Late yesterday, the Clark County Sheriff, Joe Lombardo, once again altered the timeline.

In a dramatic shift to the original Las Vegas shooting narrative, over a week after Stephen Paddock rained down bullets on a crowd and killed 58 people, late on Monday Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo drastically changed the timeline of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, and now the gunman allegedly opened fire on a security guard six minutes before he unleashed the massacre. Officials had previously claimed that Paddock, 64, shot Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos only after Paddock had started shooting at the Route 91 Harvest country-music festival from his 32nd-floor hotel suite on Oct. 1. –Zerohedge

This is incredibly important because officials originally credited Campos with stopping the shooting and taking a bullet to the leg. And now the authorities don’t actually know why Paddock suddenly stopped his attack on the crowd below.

As part of the constantly changing story, officials are now saying that police officers who rushed to the hotel room when the shooting began didn’t know a hotel security guard had been shot “until they met him in the hallway after exiting the elevator,” Lombardo said.

The security guard, Jesus Campos, was struck in the leg as the gunman, from behind his door, shot into the hallway on the 32nd floor. Paddock apparently detected Campos via surveillance cameras he set up outside his hotel suite, police have said. Paddock shot the guard at 9:59 p.m. local time, Lombardo said, shortly before raining down bullets on the Route 91 Harvest festival in an attack that began at 10:05 p.m. and lasted 10 minutes. Police officers found Campos when they arrived on the floor. And Campos did not summon police to the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel, according to the timeline recently updated by the authorities.

What’s also incredibly interesting, is that eyewitnesses claim to have seen security guards chasing another security guard in the minutes leading up to the massacre. The hotel guest in the room next to Paddock also saw “multiple gunmen.”

An Australian man who was staying in the room next to the shooter in the Mandalay Bay has confirmed he witnessed multiple gunmen involved in the Las Vegas attack. “There were multiple people dead and multiple shooters. I was just hiding waiting for police to come get us. I got outside safely and was hiding in bushes,” Brian Hodge told Australia’s Courier-Mail. Hodge, who was staying in room 32134, right next door to Stephen Paddock in room 32135, also provided important information when he revealed that a security guard was killed by police. “My floor is a crime scene. They killed a security guard on my floor.

Witness Wendy Miller, also from Australia, said she too, saw a security guard being chased. She was staying at the Luxor Hotel (next to the Mandalay Bay) with her husband. But they had been at a bar in the Mandalay Bay when she saw what she described as a “man of interest” run by. “We managed to make our way back to our room…” she told The Courier-Mail. “We are in lockdown. Our door is deadlocked and a chair against the door.” Miller said she saw the man sprint through the hotel after coming off an escalator from the Mandalay Bay. “The man that they [security] were chasing was wearing a security jacket like them,” she said. –

“This individual purposely hid his actions leading up to this event, and it is difficult for us to find the answers,” said Lombardo of Paddock’s actions in the days before the massacre. “In coordination with the FBI’s behavioral analysis unit, a comprehensive picture is being drawn as to the suspect’s mental state and currently we do not believe there is one particular event in the suspect’s life for us to key on,” Lombardo said. Of course, this changing narrative added diesel fuel to the bonfire of conspiracy theories already swirling on the internet and social media.  Many speculate that the guard could have been an accomplice or played a role in the initiation of this event, which appears to be a false flag.

Lombardo also said that there still is no evidence that a second shooter fired into the crowd. “We have uncovered no evidence to show there was a second shooter.” But it’s still unclear why Paddock suddenly ended his assault.

Although we may never know exactly what happened when it comes to this horrific massacre, it’s important to never stop questioning the official story hand-picked for the mainstream media to propagate.

The “official” narrative to this has fallen apart many times over. Yet the mainstream media say’s nothing. The cab driver video did it for me, multiple gunman one on the ground at the very least as well in the hotel. Plus nobody is mentioning broken windows from other casinos. We will never get what really happened

    • NonYo Business

All you need to get is that our world is being run by psychopaths and mass murderers.

      • stan

… and they have the mainstream media and law enforcement as their cover. You forget to include the pedophiles.

    • SP_88

Are you talking about the cab driver who supposedly recorded gunfire and a muzzle flash coming from the fourth floor? If so, that video was already shown to be just a light inside one of the rooms. It wasn’t gunfire.
There is another video by someone who was at the concert who took video of that same spot with the same flashing light over an hour before the shooting started. It’s Las Vegas, there are flashing lights everywhere. In fact, there are probably more flashing lights in Vegas than anywhere else.
Plus, no broken windows on the fourth floor or any other floor.
I get that nobody trusts the government or their narrative of this shooting, but the truth will be much harder to get to if people don’t scrutinize what they see as evidence, and disregard anything that doesn’t hold water. This cab driver video is one of those things that needs to go. It isn’t gunfire, it isn’t evidence of anything, so it should be disregarded so effort can be better used on something else.

      • Vegas Strong

I think he meant this one:

        • SP_88

Ok, this is a different cab driver video. As far as the sound of gunfire goes, I could hear it off in the distance throughout most of the video, but there was a short burst of gunfire that was really loud and sounded like it was really close. It definitely didn’t sound like it was coming from the same place as the other gunfire was. It certainly sounded like a different shooter. And this was before the cab driver started moving. So if he was just sitting in one place, and there was only one shooter, why was there two distinct sounds of gunfire? Unless it was two different people shooting that I was hearing.
There was a point where he showed that fourth floor window with the flashing light that the other cab driver video showed. But it was only for a second, and the sound of gunfire wasn’t loud enough to have been coming from the fourth floor.
          Interesting video.

          • Vegas Strong

There was a flashing strobe light set up on the 4th floor and a number of other diversions were set up to try to make people think that multiple shooters was just a hoax.

But as you have seen for yourself in the videos, there MUST be at LEAST 2 shooters.

          • SP_88

Yeah, the sound is very convincing. It doesn’t sound like an echo. It sounds like someone shooting very close to the cab while there is someone shooting elsewhere, perhaps from the 32nd floor.
From where this video is being taken at the time, it sounds like two distinct shooters.
If I were there, at that location, I might have thought two people were shooting at each other. But things sound different when you’re actually there, and the direction may not have caused me to think that. I cannot ascertain the direction the sound is coming from in the video. His phone only has one microphone, and he is inside the car with the window down, which further obscures the direction.
But the volume of the long, ongoing bursts of fire is indeed much lower than the one burst of fire heard earlier in the video. That one burst of fire was much closer and louder. And it happened while he was driving around the opposite side of where the windows were broken on the 32nd floor.

          • Vegas Strong

Right. We know there were at least 2 shooters. Next question would be why are they lying to us?

I think I have a clue. But that part is hard to prove. What is easy to prove is..2 shooters.

      • Jonny Ringworm

I know about the flashing light. But I was talking about the cab driver video. Two different shooters were clearly heard That wasn’t echo…Hardly a word about the other casinos gunman. Theirs more to this that they aren’t saying.

        • SP_88

As far as I know, the cab driver video is the same video that shows the strobe light on the fourth floor. And then there is another video of the flashing light on the fourth floor taken an hour before the shooting starts by someone at the concert, or on their way to the concert.
As far as the hotel is concerned, the only place there could have been shooting coming from was the 32nd floor. No other windows are broken.
I know that this is a crazy situation with lots of conflicting information and misinformation, and we certainly can’t trust the government to tell us the truth. But we should also be very careful about what information we accept and what we reject in order to remain on the path towards the truth, or as much of the truth as we are going to get.
I have a feeling that ten years from now we still won’t have the whole story, if we’re still here in ten years. There is much more effort being put into hiding the truth than telling the truth.
Look at all the information we don’t have. This happened in a casino, a place where there are more video cameras than anywhere else in the world. It’s absolutely amazing how little information there is. Every second of this shooting is on video somewhere, including all the activity leading up to the shooting. There are thousands of surveillance cameras and cellphones videos that were recording this shooting. Where are they all?
Clearly there is a huge effort to hide the truth.

        • SP_88

Ok, I watched the cab driver video you are talking about. It is a different video than the cab driver video I was talking about. This one has nothing to do with the fourth floor flashing light with the exception that it does show that same fourth floor window very briefly later in the video.
But towards the beginning of the video, there is gunfire off in the distance, and it goes on for several minutes throughout the beginning of the video. Then there is a burst of gunfire that is very loud and close to his location, and it doesn’t sound like an echo. The gunfire that goes on for several minutes has no echo, so that loud gunfire must be from another source. It wouldn’t make sense for it to only echo once.
Definitely sounds like a second shooter.
Sorry for the confusion. When you said “cab driver video” I was not aware of a second video from a different cab driver.
This video is a lot more convincing that there is more than one shooter.

Yeah it really blew my mind. This is a cover up

  • endofwatchersbegan1/28/2011

The FBI shot the Security Guard for witnessing the REAL deal.

  • RandyJ/ProudSurvivor

Damn-wouldn’t you think they’d have the narrative figured out and solidified BEFORE they initiated the sacrifice?

    • davee

I guess you can be a little sloppy, when your untouchable.

      • stan

yes, when you’re controlling the “investigation”

  • James

All logs must be with in 15 minutes accurate. Ass all is timed logged calls in & out. If the time changed that much. They are in violation of Federal Law. So check the time dates. It don’t add up.

  • tscull

What does he mean by saying they have “no evidence” that a second gunman was involved. What the hell do you call eyewitnesses? Eyewitnesses have put many, many people behind bars within our justice system, so why are they not considered as “evidence” in this case???
