Surveillance? What Surveillance? (NSA Chief Denies Agency Can Monitor Americans)

Though numerous reports indicate that the NSA is building a data center in Utah with the capability of tracking, monitoring, storing, decrypting, and analyzing all US phone and internet traffic, as well as private information about Americans like banking transactions, NSA Chief General Keith Alexander insisted that no matter what some insider sources may claim, the NSA is not able to spy on the communications of Americans inside of the United States.

Despite the denial of this general, the military has had the capability of monitoring and recording EVERY form of communication in the world since at least the early 60s. The Army Security Agency (subordinate to the NSA) has a fort in Arizona, Ft. Huachuca and had one in Northern caliFOREIGNER at Petaluma and their sole function was monitoring DOMESTIC communications. This capacity is on display in the movie “Clear and Present Danger” with Harrison Ford. These technologies can’t have gotten but better in the years since I was in the ASA. The ASA also had a camp at Vint Hill Farms in Virginia for the same purpose though it was more associated with the CIA and foreign communications. All of them were/are surrounded by shoot to kill areas and you would be SHOT AND KILLED in those areas.
