Police have confirmed reports that Wisconsin shooter suspect Raymond Haughton has been found dead inside the spa. Three victims have died of gunshot wounds sustained in the shooting spree. Haughton, 45, was the estranged husband of an employee of Azana Salon and Spa in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The cause of death appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police were called earlier when shots rang out at the Azana Day Spa, a two-story, 9,000-square-foot building across from the Brookfield Square Mall. Four gunshot victims have been taken to the Froedtert Hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
A manhunt for Brown Deer resident Haughton has been underway since the time of the shooting. The hospital, the mall and several local businesses spent the afternoon on lockdown as officials searched for the shooter.
Haughton received a restraining order on Thursday of last week, barring contact with his estranged wife.
It was also reported that an explosive device was found in the spa.
