Alexi Pushkov, a top Russian MP and close friend of Vladimir Putin, has told the European Parliament that the United States supplying the Ukranian government with weapons could escalate the conflict to ‘all out war’.

The Tass news agency quoted him as saying that American weapons could:

“expand the war and turn it into a real threat to the whole European security system”

According to the BBC he continued:

“First they sent weapons, then they sent military advisers, then troops to protect military advisers, then troops to fight the Vietnamese.”

He warned that it was “an extremely dangerous path” and that “there are a lot of people in the US who still want to fight everywhere”, including “trigger-happy” Republican Senator John McCain.

A further warning came from Mr Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who said on Tuesday that plans to arm Kiev’s forces were “aimed at destabilising the situation in Ukraine”.

This is the bluntest warning yet that has come out of Moscow regarding the United States current and future involvement in the conflict.

Ladies and gentlemen, if you’re not awake by now, sweet dreams. It’s as if someone is screaming in your face on the Titanic to get in a lifeboat.

This year I am in Defcon 1 mode for getting as much done as I can for my preparedness. And you know what, if nothing doesn’t happen, so be it. I can sleep at night knowing I’ve done all I can to be ready.

As the old saying goes: “put your faith in God, but keep your powder dry”.

This is getting ridiculous! Ukraine is NONE of our business, and certainly not worth getting nuked over!

As long as we are the police department for the world, we and the rest of the world are in danger. The psychopaths that are our so-called leaders need to back the f@#$ off now!

    • mirageseekr

Unfortunately they have brainwashed everyone with that “police of the world” garbage. The reality is we have become the terrorists of the world and the biggest threat to world peace. These psychopaths need to be removed from power immediately though before they launch WWlll that will no doubt turn into a nuclear event.

It’s all about controlling the resources for the corps., and the wealth for the banks. Policing the world is just the excuse.

As I child of the 80’s, I grew up with my dad telling me things like, go play guns and right russians. I never thought I’d see the day when Russia would have moral superiority of over our government. But here we are, as much as it hurts to say it.
Now days it looks like I’ll be telling my kids go play guns outside and fight the government.

Cannon: Russia and the EU need a new approach to resolving the conflict Ukrainian

    Policy on February 9, 23:44 UTC + 3

“The war is going nowhere. This war can go long at a low intensity level,” – said the head of the Duma Committee during a speech in Strasbourg

STRASBOURG, February 9. / Correspondent. Ilya Baranov TASS /. Russia and the EU needs to find a new approach to resolving the Ukrainian conflict, as the war in Ukraine will lead to nowhere. This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs Alexei Pushkov, speaking at a meeting of the European Parliament (EP) Foreign Affairs Committee.

Russia hopes that at the summit in “Norman format” will take important decisions

“I think that the passions are extremely high and now recriminations create political picture. I think we need to find a new approach, emphasizing the willingness of French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel has come up with a new initiative and to avoid a situation where all the exits -under control, “- he said. Pushkov said that he arrived in Strasbourg at the invitation of the Committee of European parliamentarian Elmar Brok not to “start an ideological war” and to force MEPs to “take the Russian point of view.”

He cited a number of facts about the situation in the combat zone, in particular pointed to the death of civilians and the destruction caused by shelling from the Ukrainian military. However Pushkov drew attention to the fact that the Ukrainian conflict can not be regarded as a “confrontation between white and black.”

“The war is going nowhere. This war can go long at a low intensity level,” – said the head of the Duma Committee. He however stressed that in case of supply of weapons, such as the US, the conflict can dramatically worsen and become pervasive. “This war can grow and become a real threat to the entire European security system” – warned Pushkov, adding that the solution to the crisis is possible only in the political arena.

Minsk violated the agreement by both parties Ukrainian domestic conflict, the MP said. “When we talk about the Minsk Agreement as of the Bible, it is necessary to be familiar with it and understand that it violated repeatedly by both parties”, – said the gun. As an example, he cited the Donetsk airport, which, according to the Minsk Agreement, according to the Russian parliamentarian, Ukrainian military “to be released” in September.

    MEPs invited to Moscow

Alexei Pushkov suggested that European parliamentarians to visit Moscow in order to “discuss ways to resolve the conflict and Ukrainian bilateral relations.”

“There is a practice exchange between the delegations of the committees on Foreign Affairs of the State Duma and the European Parliament. The last time we visited them in March in Strasbourg – he recalled in an interview with Trend. TASS. – Unfortunately, March, we have reduced our relationship to the meetings between the heads committees, as the situation was extremely tense. “”If in Minsk will be made some progress, it will create a better political environment, and we look forward to seeing the delegation headed by Elmar Brok in Moscow”, – said the gun

Russia is invading a sovereign country. Maybe we should invade Russia.

    • The OGS

      Oh please!
(Are you not shy about revealing your lack of knowledge?)
The “sovereign country” was first invaded by Washington. The CIA and Victoria Nuland deposed the lawfully elected President and took over.
The Ukrainian citizens in the east were understandably extremely upset about this…
Now Kiev and Washington propaganda laughably declares Russia to be an aggressor and huge threat to the world – presumably because Russia is not pleased to witness Kiev’s attempted extirpation of all eastern Ukrainian citizens.
But apparently you believe this ridiculous propaganda which defies all common sense and reality, heheh.
      How embarrassing.
Give your head a shake, OneP… wake up!

Are you really that stupid and ill informed. I guess so. What do you think will happen if you attack Russia? You will get 500 megaton of nukes in around 20mins.

“Daddy, why do we have wars?”
“Because we are ruled by an elite group of psychopaths who owns the banks that control the governments and media. They fund both sides of war for profit and they manufacture the consent of the public through the propaganda of the media.
They hate humankind with a passion because humans they are not.”

talk to russians, ask them if they got something to loose? ask them if they will consolidate if there is a war threat. I´d advice the white house to read on some history, and they have done the same thing in the same place exactly a 100 years ago by the same exactly scenario. What that lead to? That made both WWs possible, and they have stooped in Berlin, while were capable of going as far as DC and Jerusalem

    • Nexusfast123

Washington has no understanding of the Russian nation. They are treating Russia as if it is a big Iraq. My guess is that both the Russians and Chinese have been preparing for this confrontation.
