“Rogue” U.S. General Arrested for Activating Special Forces Teams; Ignoring Libya Stand-Down Order

The official story surrounding the events of September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya which left four Americans dead, has now officially fallen apart.

After numerous flips and flops by the Obama administration, which originally attempted to paint the incident as a Muslim outcry over an anti-Islamic video, whistle blowers throughout the U.S. government, including within the White House, the State Department, national intelligence agencies and the U.S.military have made available stunning details that suggest not only did operational commanders have live visual and audio communications from drones overhead and intelligence assets on the ground, but that some commanders within the military were prepared to go-it-alone after being told to “stand down.”

Africom commanding officer U.S. General Carter Ham, after being ordered to essentially surrender control of the situation to alleged Al Queda terrorists and let Americans on the ground die, made the unilateral decision to ignore orders from the Secretary of Defense and activated special operations teams at his disposal for immediate deployment to the area.

According to reports, once the General went rogue he was arrested within minutes by his second in command and relieved of duty.

“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”

The information I heard today was that General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.

General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.

The question now is whether the American people will hold to account the chain of command responsible for leaving our people behind, fabricating a politically expedient story, and continuing to sell the now defunct lie(s) even after all of their variations of the story were found to be false and misleading.

A General who made the decision to assist diplomatic and intelligence assets on the ground has been arrested and will likely be retired or worse, while those who ordered the removal of embassy security details and ordered U.S. forces to stand-down are left to go on about their business and likely risk more American lives in the future.

In some circles the actions of those at the very top of the command structure during the Bengzahi attacks would be considered traitorous.

It would be so much easier to share these stories if the spelling was not so horrible as to make the story no longer credible.

    • Jane

I’ve been complaining about that very t hing for a long time. Shows what a wonderful job the Public (State) schools are doing.

      • mikey

You get whatthe story is about. Obama bin lying abandoned those people at the Embassy. The General tried to rescue them, and got arrested. I’ll take bad spelling over treason anyday.

        • SKIP

          ROGER THAT Mikey!

          • JustMe

            Yet another obomanation!

        • navyrick

so they wood prefer good grammar over alive Americans ???? if it was transmitted in spanish would it have made a difference… those who know nothing about tactical stuff should not be allowed to put there 2 cents in … that kind if leadership is worth nothing .. maybe there was no time to hit spell check .

          • Bert

Apparently you don’t have Spell and Grammar check either.

          • jman

This is exactly what happens when you put a pencil pushing politician in charge of our defense’s. I have alway’s had a knack for looking at a person for a short time and make an appraisal. Panetta is a rat, that has only his welfare on his mind. He is nothing more than a tool, of who-ever he works for. I say Obama gave the order to stand down, and he just passed it along. I believe the whole bunch watched this attack, in real time, and did nothing. I believe in one theory, which is, this was first set-up as a hostage plan, and it went south, after the 2 seals showed up on the scene. The plan was to hold the ambassador and his aid, to exchange for the release of the blind sheik, from custody.

      • Right

Ya blame it on the schools. Be responsible and teach your own kids how to spell and write. What a cop out blaming state schools.

      • Boldhawk

Two so called spelling errors: Al Qaida, and Benghazi… they are foreign words, and authors have the freedom to phoneticize foreign words as they see fit. Also, consider that the original reports were probably filed by foreigners, in whose language may be written differently than English. If that is the basis for the complaint, that’s stretching it… as well as missing the point of the story.

      • Joe

What a JACK-ASS you are!!! Griping about grammar instead of the death of four civil servants! Here’s some grammar for you… F* YOU!!!

        • Joe

How about this… U R sum stoopid fx out there! Al kaiders kill’n folx an ur worried about sum words! You are a special kind of stupid, aren’t you?

        • Joe

You folks correcting grammar, I have a suggestion… Move out of Momma’s house and take some real responsibilities!

    • Jeff

I have heard this story over the weekend, and I believe it closely follows a current TV show, Last Resort. I still have friends in the military (I’m retired Air Force) and my retired Command Sgt Major says that Gen Ham has NOT been arrested, and that he has served his 2 year tour as the Commander of AFRICOM and is due to rotate back to the states. I wish people would stop just making up stories, I want this jackass-in-chief tried for treason, but I want the story to be honest and real. God knows there’s plenty to try this SOB on without making crap up.

      • Bob Smith

Jeff, Thanks for the input. If what you say is true, articles such as this serve no purpose other than to undermine and obfuscate the truth/facts. A well intentioned fabrication is still a lie.

        • Marjy Chamberlin

I believe this story is inaccurate. It was reported by Fox that Gen Ham was at the Pentagon when the Benghazi attack occurred. It was also reported on Glenn Beck that it was reported Gen. Ham’s wife is terminally ill, so he wanted to be back in the States.
Further research on these two differing stories needs to be done.

      • Anonymous

Why do you call people liars, maybe they have the right information and you have the wrong information. No one knows all the lies Obama has told and those of hid Administration.

      • Anonymous

This story ran in our local paper. It is a Democratic rag, but I believe they ran it without realizing the effect it would have.

      • jman

The General before him served 3 years, and Hamn had only been there 18 month’s, and had made future plans for his command. He was a hard liner, non political General, and took matters to heart. panetta should rot in hell for his role in this, and the same goes for the one in the White House.

    • BadddSanta

You’re stupid if you can’t comprehend something without proper grammar. How did you ever make it so far in life Idiot?

    • http://www.therealside.com Joe Messina

Are you serious? spelling makes a story credible? Really?

    • Rob

I just ran a spell check on this article and the only thing that it showed as wrong, spelling or grammar, was “U.S.military” should have been “U.S. Military”.
What the hell, man? Does not the rest of the article bother you. As a 22 year U.S. Navy Veteran, it bothers me immensely.

      • Anonymous

You checked the spelling but not the facts?

    • robert

Gee, i wounder if the terrorists that killed the 4 americians knew how to spell.?

    • shirley trejo

Why do you call people liars, maybe they have the right information and you have the wrong information. No one knows all the lies Obama has told, and those of his Administration Another thing, our Nation is in crisis,we have four American’s dead. We have not heard the exact truth and may not. And, you guys writing comments are making grammar errors. Where did you go to school, need refresher course.

      • jman

Thanks to major media, we all have to guess what happened. This is part of the trickery of a Marxist regeme. Do you think the Russian’s got the truth during the cold-war. The media has let us all down, and should be boy-cotted. Let them all feel the sting of being unemployed. All we get is 24/7 Hollywood Buzz stories. Investigative Journalism is dead in this country.

    • ray

So if the words are misspelled it makes the story untrue???

    • Cannon

Kind of like when photo-ops of Obama with his buzz word “Forward” and the “forward” is spelled Foward? Kinda like that type of spelling?

    • chow

Could you give an example of a misspelled word in the article since I missed them, I guess?

I hope you’re not reading articles just to correct the spelling or punctuations like an English writing class? Writing is communication just like speech. Regardless of spelling or punctuations, if you understood what’s being said the purpose of communication is accomplished. If I tell you to go “fhuck a dhuck”, you understood that, right?

    • Frank

Here we go again. Another ENGLISH PROFESSOR belittling others to make themselves feel smarter!

      What a PUNK!

      • Joe

The English Professor is in Momma’s basement writing their comments and self pleasuring themselves with computer images. They are keeping computer porn sites in business, right Professor?

        • Joe

Merry Christmas Professor… I’ll bet that you have something to say about that too right?

    • james

This honorable soldier is getting arrested and tried for doing the right things and you’re worried about spelling … it’s a pet peeve of mine too but people like you make me sick when you get hung up on the littlest thing and disregard the point! Feel free to proof read my reply Mr Webster.

    • K Kiekow

Correct spelling is frustrating for many. I worked with a guy that couldn’t spell “toilet”, to him it was “tolet”, yet he had a BA Degree from Sam Houston University and went back to earn his masters. Many excel in areas other than spelling. Bottom line: Misspelled words do not undermine the content of the message. Listen with an open mind and see through the errors with perfect vision. When you are busy judging someone you cannot enjoy who they are, where they have been or the message they share.

    • Nancy

I see one misspelling, on a link. The article is written clearly and is easy to read. I think the term “so horrible” is a bit of a stretch.

  • Locus

Spelling errors are fingerprints of the soul, a celebration of the uniqueness of the individual.

    • SKIP

Not true! perhaps more of a reflection of education but of no real import to these stories. Properly spelled, or improperly spelled, executive orders doing away with our constitutional rights as U.S. citizens will have the same affect on us.

      • Rose Hunter

You pick on spelling and it’s crap, because little miss editor you missed the point.

  • Mike

I am in full support of U.S. General Carter Ham. As for the rest of them, GET A ROPE!

  • Benghazi Bob

The same guy Obama, who abandoned the US Ambassador, told Israel, “We have their back.”

    • Suzanne

I remember that comment…not too comforting!

      • Don

What is not comforting is that another country (Isreal) wants to call the shots and start a war and once again, have our people come in and finish what they start.

I feel happy for all free nations of the world, I feel very sad that Americans are willing to accept the responsibility for another country and pledge American Lives for the defense of another country.

Sure would like to see us firm up our own status. We owe Japan and Canada as much or in some areas more than China, but people don’t pay attention to that either.

We can not keep living like people that only get 30 second sound bites to make decisions.

As to the military, there is a reason that people removed from the scene are the ones that work to bring all the information together and then develop a plan that all can abide by.

This is part of the problem, people want the freedom to do as they choose in the military and it does not work that way.

        • Evan Hunter

Don – Even if you’re making an asinine comment, at least you could spell Israel correctly.

  • Grey Ghost

As a former special operations soldier, I can say that we expect to be called upon for these very such events.

It also appears that the lines in the sand within the US Military are being drawn. One senior general disobeys orders because he feels his orders are immoral and another one bows down to the President to save his own carrier.

http://www.shtfplan.com has another article about a US Adiral, the commander of an airgraft carrier group, is being relieved of duty over “command judgment”. Can’t help but wonder if the SOCOM units Grn Ham was attempting to activate we’re SEALs.

    • Special K

The upper echelons of the Navy have been slowly getting fired one at a time for all kinds of bizarre reasons–some of the best have been thrown out to make way for the “new military” that we are now seeing. These are scary times. Our military is being decimated by those that are sworn to protect it.

      • brandon

Very true. Same thing happens with all tyrannical governments. Force the old guard out and usher in newer, less experienced, but more ready to obey orders, leadership in its place.

Damn shame the few good brass we have left in the military that aren’t political sock puppets are being punished for doing the moral thing of trying to bring everyone home alive.

      • George

Stalin did the same thing to his military and it almost cost him the war.

    • robertsgt40

Where’s Gen Smedley Butler when you need him? I’m hoping for a revolt in the military wtshtf

      • Lon Chainee

Smedley Butler pretty much did what he was told, and then profited from a tell-all book afterward, Smedley Butler, like all military people, are communists that get paid with redistributed wealth, remember, George Washington and those that served under him were true volunteers, they did not get paid, they were fighting for freedom, they were not fighting to hoist themselves up on someone elses back so thay could have a cushy government job.

        • james

Im no Communist and the fact you would so readily lump us all in such a group and make a statement so broad without citing any facts just shows you to be an ignorant opinionated know nothing know it all. Do us a favor and stop making inflammatory remarks about heroes and help Mr Webster at the top of the comments list with spell check.

    • Jeff

Grey, yes, the Admiral of the John C Stennis strike group was relieved of command and flown back to Bellview Wash. I believe there is a purge going on at the O7 and above level…

    • jman

I heard they were Delta Force, highly trained to respond to the exact thing that happened in Bengazhi. The only thing is the training scenaro didn’t account for a traitor, in the situation room.
America, we have a big problem, when we let our citizen’s die like this.

  • Grey Ghost

Actually, the other article is at drudgeReport.com, sorry.

  • http://www.republicofflorida.org JoeRepublic

General Ham sounds like a man of honor and real integrity. His second in command should be tried with the rest of them. I’m having an impossible time trying to understand the illogical mindset of “without having some real-time information about what’s taking place” when the place is buzzing with drones and satellites; let’s not forget the people that were on the ground sending the emails requesting help.

Damned be the honest man; the liars and thieves are in command.

    • SKIP

If this were true, a second in command needs FAR MORE than himself to relieve a commander! It is also something that an XO puts his entire career and possibly his life in jeopardy doing so. Hence, I do not believe this story of Gen. Ham being arrested. I will wait for further information on this.

    • Lon Chainee

yeah right, when Colin Powell gets knighted by the Queen of England for service to the crown, the entire U.S. military works for the British empire, this general like all U.S. generals will never admit that we have no business in Libya or anywhere else in the world.

    • Lon Chainee

honest my arse, when are these bozo’s going to admit that their military all over the world means you’re businesses can’t be competitive here and are going to shut down, (and they have), leaving very few jobs for the prescious veterans or anyone else and then who will pay for the military, with all that manpowwer these idiots cannot even grow their own food.

  • Kelly

WOW. This is incredible. Thank God we have some military leaders that have some damn courage! This is treasonous!

And you guys are concerned about the articles’ spelling? Dopes!

    • Jane

If the Military was as sloppy as the spelling, heaven help us!! We need excellence in our culture and it has been long gone.

      • Anonymous

Heaven help Jane…Jane is a shill.

      • prepaired painter

Good for you jane, you truely have your prioroties straight…go after poor spelling in an article that you dont have the inteligance to write… while your country is falling apart.

  • Bill

At least when I served those in charged had common sense. General Ham should get an atta boy for trying.I still think an ex-service man makes the best commander in cheif.

  • Cynthia M

You really should check your facts …wish I would have before sharing your ‘article’ on my facebook page. IF Gen. Ham was arrested on Sept 11th, then how did he address the press in Algiers on September 30, still as U.S. Africa Command Commander? http://www.africom.mil/getarticle.asp?art=8353

    • http://www.thedailysheeple.com Ed Thomas

The article never stated that the General was arrested on Sept. 11. The event in Bengzahi, Libya took place on Sept. 11. According to times247.com the General was apprehended on Oct. 26 which is well after he addressed the press on Sept. 30.

      • Rick

The story says “According to reports, once the General went rogue he was arrested within minutes by his second in command and relieved of duty.”

and “General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.”

This incident happened Sept 11. So…………..

How did he still have his command as of Sept 30?

  • Jeff

At least our General had the balls to ignoring an order to do what he thought was the right thing to do.Then our president was watching what was going on from the drones as they were asking for help in which the idiotturned down if anybody should take the blame and kicked out of office is our President f or not giving help but watched as our soldiers were killed

  • Debra

Beg to differ with you Ed. It says just that in the article.

“According to reports, once the General went rogue he was arrested within minutes by his second in command and relieved of duty.”

“General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.”

  • Jeff

No charges or being droped down in rank as he was following what his heart said to do and i give this man credit for his what he did

  • Cynthia M

This story is just NOT true. General Ham hasn’t been relieved of duty yet and was NEVER arrested. he addressed a group of cadets at an ROTC luncheon on Oct. 22nd AS the commander of U.S. Africa Command. http://www.africom.mil/getArticle.asp?art=8397&am

    • PleaseShootMe

This is like being in a room with a bunch of stirred up retards…LMAO!! I don’t know what it was wether it was drugs or a head injury of some kind but the people in here have some serious brain damage. You point out a fact and they keep on ranting.. It won’t stop LOL

  • Chicago Rose

“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,”

I thought the above description is what we call war? Now a man who wanted to do something to save lives, to DO something while our government did nothing is arrested? We should all be afraid

  • J. Jonz

Clearing out any patriots left in the military high command so they can fill these positions with treasonous scum. Hopefully the mid-level officers will take up the honored tradition of fragging.

  • Richard Braverman

After a decade of war built on total fabrication, I would conclude that lare swathes of military leadership are compromised and corrupt. In that sense, by continuing to prosecute these illegal wars, those officers are just culpable and contemptible as the current and past commander-in-chiefs. The entire US government structure is traitorous. It starts with congress, includes the white house, always involved the judiciary and, through the executive branch, has completely infected the military. The CIA was and always has been rogue. The corruption and contempt for the citizens of this country is legendary. The REVOLUTION is now.

    • Suzanne

Great points. It is the entire structure that holds the responsibility for where we are. Not one person.

  • Big Ed

I bet O was beating his pud watching the American getting his fudge packed.

  • ron stanton

this is looking more and more like an insider operation To keep the pot boiling. A certain middle eastern country is overly anxious, frothing, to widen the divide between the West and the Arab world. They own and control many ‘al qaeda’ (wink, wink) franchises. It is noteworthy that the ambassador who was murdered was one of the most friendly to Arab countries.
Reminiscent of the standdown orders on 9/11.

  • Antranik

If, as Panetta said, “(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.” then WHAT THE PHUCK WAS A U.S. AMBASSADOR DOING IN SUCH AN UNSECURE LOCATION/SITUATION THAT EVEN U.S. TROOPS WERE FORBIDDEN TO ENTER???!!!!! HOW IS IT THAT A U.S. AMBASSADOR CAN BE ORDERED INTO AN AREA TOO DANGEROUS FOR U.S. TROOPS??? WAS THE AMBASSADOR SOME SORT OF RAMBO????

    • Frankie Little

First–you people out there who can’t get past spelling, You apparently think people who are not good at spelling are uneducated. You must thnk you are above all these people–well you are not. Mr. George Little(not my relative, thank God.) who is the spoksman for Panette, says this is a rumor, but they are sure rowing the boat now, trying to explain this. Where there is smoke there is fire. I believe this happened. I believe General Ham is a true American and he serves this country with honor and valor. America was attack , there is no other word for it. It was a planned attack, regardless of what you want to believe. It was another 9/11 on a smaller scale. Our people who died in that attack, were left to die, except one man decided it wasn’t right. He chose to answer the call for help from his fellow Americans who serves this country. Obama and our government left these Americans to die. Panetta says we must access the situation before sending troops into harms way—Every member of the armed forces and embassy in each of these contries are in harms way every day. I fully believe we could have saved these lives, if Obama had tried. Our soliders are killed like flies by our counter parts “green on blue” as well as our allies. Obama is vain and he is a poor comander in chief, he has ruined some Marines lives becaue they dare speak out. They took an oath when they joined the military, but so didn’t Obama when he became president, an oath similiar to the one they took. Ombana has not kept his oath in many ways. I believe these people are still Americans no mater where they served. By the way my husband servd this country for 20 years. This is election year as we all know, we know what the last four years have been like. This is one of the most important elections we will ever face, because our freedom and liberty is in danger Americans are tired of this war, tired of losing their sons, daughters, husbands and fathers. Tired of no jobs, not being able to provide for their families. Obama didn’t access the situation on giving money to every one, did he, and that failed. We will be at war with the whole middle east soon, our country will be left wide open for attack. Obama assures us that we have the means to protect our self. I don’t believe that. I will vote for the one who I think is lesser of the two evils. The one I feel might pull us out of the mess, it can only get worse if the American people dont wake up and look at the man instead of the party they vote for. God Bless America and our armed forces who risk their lives for us every day.

  • Kevin Norman

I have a response from AfriCOM communications stating that Gen Ham is still in command of AfriCOM:

“”Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are aware of blog
Posts regarding Gen. Ham, and the assumptions are false. General Carter F. Ham is currently
the commander of U.S. Africa Command. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta’s
announced intention on October 18 to nominate Army General David M.
Rodriguez to succeed General Ham followed leadership succession
deliberations that took place well before the incident of 9/11/12. On
Sunday, October 28, 2012, Secretary Panetta’s spokesperson, Mr. George
Little, issued the following statement to one of the blog authors: “The
insinuations in your story are flat wrong. General Ham is an outstanding
leader of AFRICOM. Future leadership changes at this important command have
absolutely nothing to do with the attack on American personnel in Benghazi.
The leadership changes have been long planned.”””

  • IDMT41

This administration is systematically dismissing real military leaders because they follow the military code and the administration cannot force them to disregard their moral duty, integrity and honor for the sake of political agendas. Although the military is to follow the orders of the civilians appointed to control the military, if those orders are illegal or immoral, the military has a responsibility to disobey those orders. As a retired (over 22 years) military front line guy, the actions of this administration are an abomination to the military code we all honor and pledge our lives too. Politics should never have a place in a military operation. In this case, politics was the only reason for this terrible tragedy to occur.

    • oldsailor80

      IDMT41…………
You are dead on the money, and I add that this is all perpetrated by a person who is NOT EVEN the elected CINC. Those who voted for Barack H Obama, squandered their votes. Barry Soetoro has never to date legally changed his name to Obama. The person who was illegally sworn into the WH is still legally Barry Soetoro. There is NO evidence at any of the US PUBLIC INFORMATION DATABASES,that Soetoro ever filed a petition for name change for legal adjudication anywhere in the US. Nor is there any evidence in any of the Superior Courts in the US that such a petition was ever filed. This petition must be filed along with a CERTIFIED COPY of a LEGAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE which in Soetoro’s case does not exist….as we all now know is true.

  • Strayhorse

By what authority does the current sitting administration cite for their actions in violating the Supreme Law of the Land; The United States Constitution?
The American citizens demand loyalty. The current branches of the federal government no longer serve the People.

  • Ed The Sock

Maybe just maybe, spelling aside (one would hope alternative news and information would at least hold to a standard of literacy equal to the importance of the news), the facts of the matter are obscured for a reason, the government would like nothing better than articles like this to simmer along and muddy the waters so they can get on with the job of purging the patriots from the armed forces and government and put their patsys in place for the next round of America/Israel Incorporated. People need to start stocking up on food, water ammo and fuel and have a safe sheltered place to defend when the poop hits to rotating blade.

    • Jay

Hilary should not be held accountible neither should the fall guy general. the President watched his own people die in real time and then lied about the inteligence and the fact that the commander in cheif ingnored pleas to send back up that was onl;y one mile away. Today he asked congress to fund his muslim brothers in the war against Israel. Whoever is an enemy of the nation of Israel is an enemy of God— Qusetion can we afford that?

  • Gunslinger in Pomona

What amazes me is that someone gets hung up on spelling instead of the issue at hand. Our President is a spineless bastard who has done his best to drag this nation down. His only ability is to lie straight-faced to the nation. He needs to be replaced. Here is one little side note for you – FEMA is supposed to be ready for the eastern seaboard – this is the same group that got super nailed on their handling of New Orleans. I have it straight from one of the managers of Wal-Mart that when the wild fires hit Southern California – when the people were evacuated to the stadium in San Diego, Wal-Mart management ordered all trucks to head for the stadium, AND TO GIVE ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING OFF THOSE TRUCKS TO WHOEVER NEEDED IT. They were forced to wait SIX PLUS HOURS outside the stadium because FEMA hadn’t showed up yet, AND WANTED TO SAY THEY WERE THE FIRST ONES ON SCENE.
We have some f…ed up leaders who need to be shown the door!

This has all the stench of a USS Liberty.

    • Vet

Yes, I was there when it happened !!! 1967 GMG 3

  • Suzanne

I love how so many people take anything they read on the net or anything they want to believe as fact and share it and comment on it as if a fact. If anyone out there is actually reading this – take this as your first lesson that you may also have other preconceived ideas that are based on false information as well and you’re going around spouting off like a tea pot full of bs. Stop being part of the problem and passing on bad info. Look for facts people!!

    • Frankie Little

Frankie say to you Miss Suzanne, Open your eyes real wide and see what is happing in this world, including in America. Don’t take everything you read on the net to be lies. Don’t be so close minded. Were there is smoke, fire always follows. Could be you are part of the problem also. Actually this wasn’t worth a reply but I just couldn’t resist. God Bless you Suzanne.

Did anyone other than me see the Mossad at work in Bengazi?IIRC,Obama snubbed the Israeli President(?)when he came to the UN General Assembly,so what better way to embarrass the Prez?
Yeah,I’m accusing the Mossad of dressing like Libyans to create havoc. They did what they do best-”wage war by deception”.Not only did they make Obama look like a weak president,it cast an air of incompetent on American’s armed forces.Their objective was achieved-in spades.
Hey,correct me if I’m wrong, but the same scenario of the Israeli attack on our USS Liberty. Our US ship was attacked by Israel and a naval battle group was told to stand down and not attack the Israeli murderers. As Yogi Berra,a fellow Midwesterner said,”It’s deja vu all over again!”
Ask yourself why almost,if not all the American net hops go through Hafia,Israel.Everyone of us Patriots need not bother with correct grammar. We need to hone our discernment and start seeing who the real enemy is and their method of operation.Semper Fi!!

    • PAUL LEO FASO

That is the correct view on this latest “HIT”.

  • PAUL LEO FASO

All of the facts must be made know to every American.

That means all the facts, not assumptions or political fabrications by any party.

Lets look under every rock at what happened in Benghazi, and all of the players who set this in motion with a specific plan.

    Here is one way to look at the event;

All the minions are again willing to believe any story presented to them with no basis in fact. Show me the money, or in other words, the cold hard facts. None of us want an administration in power that would truly allow this to happen, but you all are so anti-Obama, that you are willing to be led to slaughter by your own hatred. Good luck proving ANY of this article is accurate or true. (And yes, my spelling is correct . . .)

    • Steve Grekko

It’s not hatred at all. I don’t think Romney is any good for the USA either. Obama is just a puppet, and has proven it time and time again. I mean really, this guy just came out of nowhere and didn’t even have time to finish one term in the Senate. Next thing you know, he’s POTUS. He has no history, he’s locked up all his academic records, and he’s using a SS# from a State he never lived in. Face it, he’s a matrix construct.

  • Lt. Col. Norm in Hilo

I hope they do force the General into retirement. Then he will be free to speak about this in public. If the content is accurate this story deserves to be told — and b4 the election!

BTW: I have read and re-read the article and I do not see spelling errors sufficient to warrant a label of “Horrible”. I see a typo “Bengzahi” for “Benghazi” and one grammatical error using “were” when “was” would be called for. However, I have seen similar infractions by mainstream writers in the NY Times.

  • Mike in Miamisburg

Write your Congressman and Senators and demand the truth! I did this the day of the attack and Congressman Turner replied (Staffer I suppose) that they are starting a Congressional inquiry. I believe the more Patriots that contact their elected officials the more action we will see, maybe even the truth. As I recall, the Presidents first job is to protect the people and Nation, failing and lying to the public is treasonous!

    • PYSTALI

THE PROBLEM WITH CHARGING OBAMA WITH TREASON IS HE FIRST MUST BE A CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY.HE IS REALLY AN ENEMY COMBATANT, AND HIS POLICIES SUPPORT THAT CLAIM.

  • AMR

When they found osama bin ladin and he called up the navy seals they did not hesitate to go and get him. But when when the seals needed help and called 3 or more times the president wouldn’t even give them a hand.

  • Vet

This clown needs to be tarred and feathered, he is a danger to our nation, clear and present. Removal is required, what ever it takes !!!

  • Caroline

Our military has become Hitler’s military.

    • PYSTALI

      YOU MEAN OBAMAS MILITARY.

    • careful

As i recall, Hitler used propaganda similar to this article to get rid of his enemies. some of you guys should be very careful with opinions, especially when you obviously have no real clue about world politics. In my opinion it is so stupid to actually think that all the problems that our society deals with will change with another president. Democrats – Republicans – i mean seriously – the system as a whole is flawed. And we chose it that way. Again we will chose it. With Obama or Romney. There will be no real change for the normal guy around the corner. But then again, the guy around the corner chose it this way. So I guess that´s what´s being called justice. Have a good day.

  • Caroline

Obama is a Muslim Brotherhood stooge, and Congress should have removed him. He should have never been permitted to enter our White House. I pray every day, that Obama is arrested, charged with treason, and executed, along with Clinton, Rice, and others.

President Romney will have to issue many pardons.

    • Steve Grekko

Yep, add Bush and Darth Cheney to the list.

      • Steve Grekko

PS: Romney will change nothing, he’s got the same backers as O.

        • PYSTALI

SO LET OBAMA STAY IN OFFICE? THERE ARE PLENTY OF DIFFERENCES. TO SAY ROMNEY IS NO BETTER THAN OBAMA IS ABOUT THE STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD. ROMNEY IS NO WHERE NEAR AS F UP AS OBAMA THE DICTATOR WHO SEEKS THE DESTRUCTION OF OUR COUNTRY BY DESTROYING THE CONSTITUTION AND IGNORING THE RULE OF LAW. AND GIVING ARMS TO OUR ENEMIES.AND ON AND ON. YOUR COMMENT IS STUPID AS WHAT AN OBAMA SUPPORTER WOULD SAY OR BELIEVE,AND THEY ARE IDIOTS.

    • SKIP

Congress can’t remove anyone from anywhere unless they get their balls back and I doubt that the democratic senate or Obamuslim will ever give them back. Crying John Boehner won’t even ask for them back or at least a loan of them.

    • careful

How can someone who claims to be praying – seriously ask for the execution of a human being. I don´t get it and I never will.

  • Steve Grekko

This General is a hero. I’d have done the same thing and be suffering the same treatment as him and the Navy Adm. both of these guys are a credit to this nation and a national treasure, unlike the political ruling wing of this country.

  • Donna

My only problem with this story is that it’s told as if it’s a proven fact – however General Ham has not confirmed this in any shape, manner or form. I want answers as much as the next, but I’d like them to be facts, not suppositions or assumptions…those don’t do anyone any good.

    • PYSTALI

WHO CARES IF THIS STORY IS TRUE, THE FACT IS OBAMA TOLD THE MILITARY TO STAND DOWN. FORGET ANYTHING ELSE.THIS STORY TRUE OR NOT MENTIONS THE FACT THAT OBAMA TOLD THE MILITARY TO STAND DOWN. THAT DOES A LOT OF PEOPLE A LOT OF GOOD.I DOUBT THE STORY IS FALSE BY THE WAY. BUT WHO CARES BEYOND THE FACT OBAMA IS A MURDERER OF AMERICANS. IT CAN BE ARGUED HE SET THEM UP HIS DENYING SECURITY AND THEN HELP,AND CREATING A NARRATIVE. SHOWS GUILT. HE SET THEM UP. AND SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH MURDER.BY THE WAY 20000 SHOULDER FIRED MISSILES WERE SENT TO LIBYA AND LOST TO TERRORIST.THINK ABOUT THAT NUMBER.

  • http://johnturmel.com/kotp.htm KingofthePaupers

Jct: What I’d like to know more than the name of the heroic general who wanted to rush to the rescue is the name of the not-heroic robot second-in-command who obeyed orders and let his guys die! Sure, it was the pols back in Washington who really ordered the ambassador’s death but given the general was going to try to stop it, you have to really give credit to the second who, rather than obey his superior officer, took command and let jhis time die. What was the name of the robot who let his men die?

  • PYSTALI

SO EVERYONE IS CLEAR,OBAMA HAD THE CHOICE TO SEND HELP OR LET THEM DIE, AND CHOSE TO LET THEM DIE. AND HE WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT IN THE WHITE HOUSE FOR FOUR MORE YEARS? I GOT A BETTER IDEA CHARGE OBAMA WITH SECOND DEGREE MURDER FOR THE FOUR DEATHS AND SEND THE BASTARD TO THE BIG HOUSE NOT THE WHITE HOUSE. BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT THEY WERE GONNA DIE AND DID NOTHING TO STOP IT, THATS HIS JOB. HE SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH MURDER.

  • Hue

MAYBE the attack in Bengazi was the ‘October Surprise’?

The Net is great for getting to the bottom of things quickly, but a rumor or even a lie can whizz around in no time.

I read on The Web that OBAMA was ON THE PHONE with NETANYAHU for OVER AN HOUR when the attack in Bengazi was happening, supposedly by an outfit affiliated to Al Qaeda.

(I think their name translated into English is something like ‘Allah does war by deception’)

As Barry might say, “Hue has given folks on here just enough to be able to work out what was really going down”

Somehow though ~ I can’t believe Governor ROMNEY would want fellow Americans sacrificed to help him get elected POTUS

  • Animal

An officer can only be arrested by an officer of equall or greater rank.

Read Canada Free Press version of what Benghazi was all about and this will make more sense. Arms smuggling from Libya through Turkey to Syrian rebels fighting Assad is way more believable. This smells of CIA coverup, The Russians told the Iranians and hence the assault teams attacking the consulate that wasn’t a consulate. They were waiting for a rescue so we would have another BlackHawk down incident. These were not rag-tag Libyans who were irate because of an American anti-Muslim film that made its way onto the internet.

  • Todd

I don’t believe any of this really. I would like to know whats going on, but I doubt very much Obama was sitting in the situation room, watching live video and saying “Eh, F them, they can die” cause when all is said and done, that is what articles like this want me to believe and its retarded. Something happened, but I don’t lay 100% of this at our Presidents feet and how can you have any article about crappy State Department security and not also mention cuts Republicans (looking at your Paul) made. Not blaming them either…just saying, things like this are complex, and tragic. Personally I.m sick of seeing retarded over simplified non-sense bs articles like this! Yes I want to know what happened but its going to be a while before its sorted out. Also, didn’t the Lybians catch some of the f’ers that did this?

    • SKIP

I too am sure he wasn’t in the situation room, he was in mosque saying F’em

    • careful

I love how when reading through these comments I found someone like you with common sense. Thank you!

    • jman

The waste has to stop somewhere. Don’t blame the cut’s on the Republican’s. How about the money wasted in Vienna and India, paying for entertainers.
The state department requested extra security and Obama said no to it.

  • Todd

Also, Republicans – next election run someone thats actually good! I think Obama is an ok president, not great but ok enough to get my vote. Whats the alternative? Vote for Romney? Really? that dudes is a total douchewad Vote for him? As president? Are you Nucking Futs?

  • Anonymous

Small minded fx who probably have never served a day in the military in their lives, sleeping under the warm blankets of those who do or have served… I would suggest kissing or sucking something but you might correct my grammar, crack heads!

OMO (Oh My Obama)… You 47 percenters (oops! sorry about the grammar mistake) are enabled for another four years. Wait until the government tit dries up! You’ll be complaining soon enough HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

This story is NOT TRUE. Gen Ham was NOT “arrested” or “relieved of command” in any way, shape or form. He was already due to change command, since his assignment was expiring anyway.

  • Doug

Simple. One word for Obama re: benghazi. The word is TREASON. Use the insurrection act, arrest and adjudicate and then hang him.

  • Pookiedr
