Rapper Lupe Fiasco Kicked Off Inauguration Stage for Playing Anti-War Song

Several journalists who attended an inaugural party last night to celebrate President Obama’s second term reported that rapper Lupe Fiasco was kicked off stage for playing an “anti-war song for 30 min” and going on an “anti-Obama diatribe mid set.” Fiasco, a Chicago native, has been very critical of Obama in the past and has even gone as far as calling him ‘the biggest terrorist‘:
So it’s a be strange that Fiasco was the headliner for the event called the StartUp RockOn concert at The Hamilton in Washington DC. Here is a brief video clip of him getting thrown out of the event: Josh Rogin of Foreign Policy’s The Cable tweeted ”So Lupe played one anti-war song for 30 min and said he didn’t vote for Obama and eventually was told to move on to the next”, and “Lupe Fiasco just got thrown off stage here at the Hamilton Live after he went on an anti-Obama diatribe mid set.” Matt Dornick of CNN tweeted from the event, “Things going terribly wrong at @LupeFiasco performance during #SURO. Kicked off stage, bashing obama” and “#SURO slammed by @LupeFiasco’s nonstop, anti-obama rap. Corporate sponsors scurrying.” The antiwar song that Fiasco repeated for over 30 minutes is Words I Never Said.
