Russia is ready to restore relations with the US, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at a presentation ceremony of foreign ambassadors, referencing Donald Trump’s election to the US presidency.

“We heard [Trump’s] campaign rhetoric while still a candidate for the US presidency, which was focused on restoring the relations between Russia and the United States,” said Putin. “We understand and are aware that it will be a difficult path in the light of the degradation in which, unfortunately, the relationship between Russia and the US are at the moment… It is not our fault that Russia-US relations are as you see them.”

As RT reports:

Earlier today, in a message to Donald Trump the Russian President expressed confidence that the dialogue between Moscow and Washington, in keeping with each other’s views, meets the interests of both Russia and the US. The Russian leader noted in the message that he hopes to address some “burning issues that are currently on the international agenda, and search for effective responses to the challenges of the global security,” RIA Novosti reported. On top of it, Putin has expressed confidence that “building a constructive dialogue between Moscow and Washington, based on principles of equality, mutual respect and each other’s positions, meets the interests of the peoples of our countries and of the entire international community.”

“The current US-Russian relations cannot be called friendly. Hopefully, with the new US president a more constructive dialogue will be possible between our countries,” said Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. “The Russian Parliament will welcome and support any steps in this direction.”

In response to Trump’s victory, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, “We are ready to work with any US leader elected by the US people… I can’t say that all the previous US leaders were always predictable. This is life, this is politics. I have heard many words but we will judge by actions.”

Make a huge move Trump on Intl Relations and World Peace. During your first week of office jump on your (new) plane and go talk with Putin.

Trump is already improving international relations and doing a Presidential job, before he even takes office.

  • Ken, Megapolis

Putin seems to be gaining respect in a world where America was seen more as the villain. I pray that improved international relations can only result.
I still think the buck stops here and we mustn’t blame politicians for personal failings.
I am willing to play my part.
You know what I am saying next LOL.
    So help me God.

Maybe now we can have a real reset button, where somebody actually uses a Russian dictionary..

Too bad the fascist anti-war hypocrites were NOWERE to be found as Hilary caused hundreds of thousands of deaths in Libya or Syria, but the the Occupy Wall Street hypocrites were the same with all of Goldman Sucks money given to Hilary, and similar to the hypocrite feminists for Slick’s rapes

Hate to rain on the party parade but this was the NWO plan all along. Their original pick was Hillary but Putin didn’t like her and she was falling apart at the seams, so they trashed her with wikileaks so their Trump Card would win with a mandate. Their goal is to unite Russia/China/USA into one global hegemonic behemoth so the rest of the world will be forced to fall in line. This is just step one.

Hillary was hell bent on exchanging nukes with Russia. Hopefully we can avoid that now. But Obama is still in office. And who knows what he will do to sabotage the country before Trump takes office.
We aren’t out of the woods yet.
