Paul Ryan and Family Pretend to Volunteer for Soup Kitchen Photo Op

A Youngstown, Ohio soup kitchen reports that the Romney-Ryan campaign “ramrodded their way” into the dining hall so that Ryan could have his photo taken while he pretended to wash dishes. Brian J. Antal, president of the Mahoning County St. Vincent De Paul Society, reported that Ryan and his entourage arrived after people had already eaten and the hall had been cleaned. “The photo-op they did wasn’t even accurate. He did nothing. He just came in here to get his picture taken at the dining hall.” According to bystanders, Ryan, his wife, and his children donned aprons and began to wash already clean pots and pans while photographers snapped pictures of their good works. Antal says he would not have granted permission for the visit, as the charity is funded by private donations. “We’re a faith-based organization; we are apolitical because the majority of our funding is from private donations. It’s strictly in our bylaws not to do it. I find this story bogus. Ryan and his wife have done lots of charity work and donated a lot of time & money to charities. If this were the Obama/Soeteros,it would indeed be plausible. Mr. Antal appears to be a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, with a “Muslim Video” story of his own.

Well, I find it incredibly naive and stupid that any politician republican , democratic , or otherwise is NOT going to make full use of propaganda in order to make themselves appear better than their opposition.

I’m sure you think you’re well off, but I betcha it’s nearly all mortgaged to the hilt to support your lifestyle. These political welfare recipients pay for what….? Nothing, then claim all the benifits.
It may well be true they have given generous amounts to charity ( which is tax deductable I might add) but I don’t believe they have spent hours on end feeding the homeless – especially not while on the campaign trail

Is he washing a pot while the canned goods to prepare are beside it? Who preps like that. Also the pan his wife is carrying appears empty as it is to one side. They do not appear too busy, consudering so many lazy would flood the kitchen waiting for the free handouts.

A clean apron in a soup kitchen says one thing….a wall flower. Meaning the article sounds true to me …it’s kinda obvious all you doubters.
