Obama: “Three Proud Words – Made In The USA”

While delivering a speech at a campaign even in Kissimmee, Florida on Saturday, Barack Obama apparently forgot to count the number of words he was delivering to the crowd, as Obama appealed to the audience that if they were to re-elect him he would push to see “three proud words’ on products around the world: “Made in the USA.” Technically there are three words, “made in the,” and the USA is an abbreviation for three words. However, it is a complete gaffe on Obama’s part, reminiscent of Joe Biden. “We can help big factories and small businesses double their exports,” Obama said. “And by the way, here in Florida you’re the gateway for an entire market in Latin America, which is why when you hear these folks talking about the Recovery Act and he didn’t do this and he didn’t do that – listen, we’re expanding ports and infrastructure here in Florida precisely because we can export more,” Obama said. “We can create a million new manufacturing jobs in the next four years, because we’re selling goods around the world stamped with three proud words: Made in the USA,” he continued. “Made in the USA. Made in the USA. That’s part one of our plan, making it here in the United States of America.” The problem with Obama’s claim here is not so much his gaffe as it is his timing. Why has he waited for nearly four years to talk about pushing to see “Made in the USA” on products around the world? Why was this not a first priority when he came into office? I’d say Obama’s a little late in asking people to support him for re-election to push such an idea when he has failed to push it in his entire first term. To be fair, Obama probably meant to say what he did in this video around the 11.:28 mark in which he said basically the same thing only he used the phrase “made in America.” Tim Brown: Husband to my wife. (O_O) Oh brother, was that ever a monumental failure the 1st time we tried it! There’s waaay too much US corruption to ever make that a realistic possibility! They’ll just buy empty boxes, can & jars that are made in the US & stuff all their foreign goods into them & ship them to us, like they’ve already been doing for well over a decade now!!! Knocking on Obama’s forehead–>(O_O)/(o_O) “Hellooo…McFly, anybody home!??”.
What can I say about a very smart black man…last time there were 57 States and 1 more to go.
Heck we’re expanding ports in Florida so we can import (I don’t think he means export) more from South American countries. It’s so easy to make claims but if you don’t have plan on how to it, it’s nothing but campaign promises (just words), it’s a lie (an expression to mislead).
(O_o) Very true Chow! He doesn’t have any plan to tell us because there isn’t one. If he was serious about it, he’s be making tough new laws to help keep the few jobs we already DO HAVE here in America from being outsourced to other countries, (-_-) but noooo…he’s to busy spreading his legs on our behalf to other countries that will do our jobs for $0.25 an hour! (o_0) I just don’t see how they can ever truly get tough with these corporations that pay their salaries! We’re all just a bunch of stupid frogs sitting in a pot of boiling water, too dumb to jump out because it’s all happening to slowly & we can’t see or believe it’s really happening. The US government knows it’s about to fail & it’s just patching the holes in the breaking dam & trying to make themselves rich before the poncy-scheme is over & America slips into a new & improved devastating economic depression that will be much worse than that of what out grand parents ever had to endure! When it does, I hope whole communities here in America band together to kick these corrupt bankers out of their cities & tar & feather them if they refuse to leave!

I recall the politicans said tariffs and buy usa was nationalism and would create isolationism. Timing is everything I guess. Why do they want to pass a bill where food would not be labeled made in china but made internationally. I guess tainted meds and antifreeze pet food is ok for the ones who will not have to eat it.
