Editors Note: The video has been taken down twice this morning, it goes then pops up elsewhere. apologies if this happens after the article has been posted. CC

A video has recorded a violent altercation erupting between a man on a New York City subway and police officers, who apparently arrested him for the crime of nodding off while commuting home for work.

The incident occurs at the 57th street station stop in Manhattan in a mostly-empty carriage.

The video posted to YouTube on Tuesday does not show what sparked the police confrontation, though from the man’s reaction and those who viewed and filmed the scene, he was confronted by police for sleeping on the train.

“For what? I didn’t do s***! I’m sleeping,” he cries out during the arrest, before repeating that he was going home. The arresting officers, while speaking to him throughout the incident, are mostly inaudible.

As the police struggle to gain control of the man’s arms, he repeatedly screams “for what?” as the officers tell him to “relax.”

“Ain’t no relax, ain’t no relax,” he replied. “Yo, somebody record this, record all of this” he yells out, though the camera has long since been rolling.

He manages to sit down, at which point he can be heard saying I’m coming home from work. The officers, who say he’s under arrest, get him back on his feet, at which point the struggle to subdue him heats up.

Backup eventually arrives, and as his efforts to resist intensify, a female officer appears to start hitting him over the back with a baton. Despite his determined efforts to keep from being handcuffed, he never strikes out at the officers.

“Record all of this please! I’m coming home from work, and they’re f***ing with me because I’m sleeping, and bums gotta sleep on the train.”

After more officers arrive, an officer grabs him in a clinch and manages to pull him to the ground.

The woman filming starts asking for the officers badge number, and when one of them appears to swat her recording device way, she yells “don’t put your fucking hands on me!” as she reads out badge numbers “28230″ and “30408.″

The man then says “We gonna eat,” a slang phrase for making money, suggesting that he will sue the NYPD, probably for false arrest and brutality.

As the man is dragged off the train, the woman filming the incident yells out: “I got all ya’ll, and I got your f***ing badge numbers!”

Another passenger passes her, saying in disbelief, “that’s f***ed up.”

According to sections 1050.7 (10) and (5) of the Mass Transit Authority’s (MTA) Rules of Conduct, sleeping or dozing on trains is prohibited only “if it is hazardous or interfering with fellow passengers.” It is, however, forbidden to lie down or take up more than one seat, though it is unclear from the video footage if the man was sleeping in an upright position.

Snoring, incidentally, is not illegal. While various MTA infractions can incur arrest or fines of up to $1000, it is usually left to the officer to determine what course of action to take.

If this was any other country like Vietnam or Africa no one will bother you, but this is police state America, so you get arrested for sleeping in the train like this guy. LOL!
Who the f**k come up with some like this, sleeping is a crime! LOL!

You can’t sleep and you called this freedom?

  • Greg Straw

Hell most Americans are asleep all day long, time to wakeup and through this criminal govt out.

    • CheetahWhizerd

But then, what are you going to do with TPTB?

      • Reverend Draco

Line them up against a wall?

  • Justin OB

we cant go one day with out atleast one egregious fucking abuse of power by these cocksucking pigs

  • CharlesH

Fucking pigs don’t let up. They will when they fuck with the wrong one.

  • Wonka

Serving and protecting the shit out of you.

  • Free People

I hope this guy sues the crap out of the NYPD PIGS who should be fired, but of course, this is what they are trained to do these days, to take away ALL the freedoms that this country had once upon a time.

Never call the cops because you’ll risk the loss of your life if you do. Keep in mind that all these so-called officers can’t read, can’t write, can’t spell. They pick the dumbest of the crop and give them a license and a gun to kill. Most are probably psychopaths too.

How did the American ” Police State ” come about ? bush43 appointed Michael Chertoff , an Israeli national , to set up the DHS ! Chertoff then brought in Markus Wolfe to set up and organize the DHS !

The question is , ” who was Markus Wolfe ? ” Just another ” Tribal ” member ! Life and career of following .

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-06-15/cluster-central-banks-have-secretly-invested-29-trillion-market

However , not just any ” Tribal ” member !

  • Mitch Mitchell

copblock.org and police the police on fb check them out, time to end this cycle of abuse and power. Take action, record video and know it is legal to do so.

  • Ken, Megapolis

Disturbing vid. Today I found a card with PIN no. written on a cigarette paper kept inside a plastic holder. Feraring the security guards in the nearest office will just keep all the booty to themselves I made a slight detour to the Police Station, handing it in means late for work

  • Reverend Draco

How about next time, instead of pulling out your cell phone and recording the assault. . . defend the guy!
Bust some heads, snap a few long bones, detach fingers without anesthetic. . . protect the innocent, since those sworn to “serve & protect” refuse to do so.

    • matism

Surely you understand that the GD New York pigs will kill you if you dare do so. When you’re ready to blow their pig heads off, then do so. Until then, STFU for all you suggest will only get you dead.

      • Reverend Draco

Piss off, coward. Go back to hiding under your crib, crybaby.

        • matism

Blow it out your pig-sucking ass, you filthy piece of maggot shit. Burn in hell with your GD pig buddies.

          • Reverend Draco

You sleep with ‘em, not me – I have convictions on my record, for “assaulting a police officer” – for good or ill, win or lose, I don’t put up with that sort of bullshit from anyone, badge or not.

I now return you to your regularly-scheduled thumb sucking.

            Have some Kleenex ~~

          • matism

As I said in the first place, if you merely “Bust some heads, snap a few long bones, detach fingers without anesthetic“, the filthy maggot swill will insure YOU end up far worse. The ONLY way that doesn’t happen is if you blow their heads off, and kill their wh0res as well. NOTHING will change for the better until enough of their dead corpses are stacked in the streets.

          • Reverend Draco

Ok Mr. Smart Guy. . . here’s an experiment for you.

Have someone snap your right femur in half, bust your head open in 3 places, tear off 2 fingers, and shatter your left humerus and clavicle. . . then make them end up in worse shape – I dare you!
Of course, I’ll want proof by way of video – single take only, please – no editing allowed.

Otherwise. . . go back to hiding under your crib, caterwauling for Mommy to come & change your nappy.

There are worse things you can do to a person than kill them – you can give them a lifetime of agonizing pain and the knowledge that the only reason they’re still alive is because you let them live.

  • matism

And their wh0res with them. These aren’t “double-naught spies” whose families don’t know what they do for a living. They know full well, yet cheer them on anyway.

  • matism

Hopefully “dead pigs” will be the other side.

  • fred54

Yet another reason to never even visit NYC

  • Voncent

Cause cops NEVER LIE. If you get beat up by a LEO it is ALWAYS JUSTIFIED. Uniforms are good….

  • Reverend Draco

Not even a little bit – there are a fuckton more of us than there are of them.
They start losing body parts or their lives. . . they’ll think twice (or perhaps even 3 times) before fucking with someone.

Go hide under your banky, small fry.

    • Rick E.

That’s right! WE ARE the many dots, the authorities are the TINY DOT! We CAN prevail! It takes balls, brains, and planning ahead!

  • Rick E.

My guess would be that the cops ASSumed that the guy was a homeless man sleeping on the bus. And then decided to hassle him.
Homeless are constantly enduring being treated like dog crap, especially by the police.

    • Reverend Draco

“Domicilism” is the new racism/homophobia. . . since laws have been passed outlawing open discrimination against people because of their age, gender/gender identity, national origin, skin color, educational level, etc – the last bastion of the terminally ignorant is to attack the homeless – the only minority group left unprotected.

      • Rick E.

You’re 100% correct Rev! Before I inherited a modest amount of $, and then prudently invested it, and made some real $$ in the stock market, I was homeless!
I got the education of my life consequently!
I was treated like scum in the gutter by the cops, even with NO criminal record! EVER.
The homeless are an easy target!
Out of 15 interactions with the cops, only ONE treated me like a human being.

        • Ken, Megapolis

If I was a cop my friends, I believe I would be situationally aware to the point I can smell the alcohol + BO on a useless bum then present him with contacts with agencies keen to help.
You and I can easily tell a stressed out office worker who has been burning the candle at both ends for weeks, months even.
Been there myself, the bodily need for sleep becomes as urgent as the need to use the toilet. I have fallen asleep on buses and missed my stop numerous times.
Avoiding endless overtime + unsocial shift changes due to someone else phoning in sick is best plan. Let the managers, paid 3 times as much as you, deal with SHTF, not you.
          Thankyou.

          • Reverend Draco

You should already be able to “smell the alcohol + BO on a useless bum,” every time you smell yourself. . . you worthless fuck.

          • Rick E.

Ken, I WAS a “useless bum” as you stated, some years back. No ONE is useless my friend, we are all humans with a purpose and a life.
We are all equal in God’s eyes.

          • Ken, Megapolis

I withdraw my bum comments because this word is usually used to insult a person who is definately NOT a tramp. Many of our politicians are a case in point LOL.
I have slept out, gone ‘blagging’ not true prepping but having fun during very warm summers chiefly drinking and partying to music like Sweet Home Obama, oops Alabama, but if needing a bath, I can always find a way to get cleaned up.
Many a ‘smack head’ in cities I frequent like Bristol, Birmingham and Brighton will mug you for your wallet and mobile phone but clearly not all homeless and hungry are addicts and alcoholics are they?
I am sorry for coming across as a person with a phobia about the tramps, crusties and chavs.
            I must work on this.

          • Rick E.

No worries mate! Life is too short to fret about the technicalities, lol.

  • Reverend Draco

Bend over – I think I hear your badged boyfriend calling you.

Funny thing – never worked at McDonald’s. . . and only worked a Jack in the Box for 2 weeks, 35 years ago – I went an got myself a marketable set of skills instead.

The bad cops give the other 5% a poor reputation.

When (if) you ever grow up. . . aw, who am I kidding. . . you’ll die on your knees, fellating a cop’s baton.

  • Reverend Draco

I’ve put my money where my mouth is. . . and I have the convictions (plural) to prove it. The Gestapo don’t scare me – only one person has ever scared me. . . and he died 15 years ago.

If anyone here is a baton-sucking bootlicker. . . I submit that it is you, hiding behind your keyboard & masturbating every time some innocent slob gets ganked by the Gestapo.

    I didn’t put up with their shit when I was a kid. . . didn’t when I was a teen. . . didn’t as a young adult. . . and in my 40s – still don’t put up with their fucking bullshit.

I see something like that, I will jack the scumbags before they can say “Jump.” Let someone else record it – I have better things to do. Like protect an innocent from assault by criminals.

    Back under your crib, coward.

    • Rivenburg

Im at my most dangerous when scared, scaring me is a SERIOUS mistake. I have had several “kick ass fees ” levied AND have gone to the sherrifs office to bitch the Sherrif out (NOT the deputies) to the point his officers outside kept coming in to arrest me. The Sherrif was aware his people effed up and was fairly gracious. I was barely civil.

By the time I got home, the local deputies would not even look at me for the next 5 years. If they had scared me seriously, it would have ended badly for ALL of us, them first though. I tend to take care of bussiness then explain in court. To this day the local cops tend to respect me. I dont steal or do crank, or beat women. I give them respect if they act respectable.

  • Fleendar the magnificent

It’s NOT just the homeless that are being attacked? It’s ALL American citizens and legal immigrants that are being attacked by our own GOVERNMENT and POLICE!!

The illegal aliens KEEP flooding the border and WE keep being accosted by the TSA for our flights.

Is this the Only Crime Taking Place in NY CITY ??? Sleeping on the Way HOme from Work a CRIME

  • Mecca Wrecka

geeezzz, anybody can fall asleep after a hard day’s work. What’s next, underarm checks to see if passengers used enough deodorant?

  • carnac123

I am just surprised the man did not immediately begin using the race card. Who knows the beginning of this encounter? We are not told. I was a cop when I was younger. I worked in a Southern city. There….unless someone complained, you could sleep where you wanted as long as you did not block anything. I am amazed at what the northern cops do and get away with. They point to southern cops and bad mouth us but I know from experience,….if that guy had been sleeping on a bus or a subway down south,…he would have been left alone until someone started complaining about something he did.

  • Mathieu Hubin

Start fighting back people. When police overstep their authority, they are nothing but violent criminals and we have a RIGHT and a DUTY to deal with them with violence if necessary.

  • freedom74

I have no doubt at all. You must be out of the loop on police misconduct and brutality. You might want to pull yourself out of 1950. It all gets recorded and reported everyday now.

  • freedom74

Too dangerous, bullies always pick easy targets.

  • IHateFatChicks

Most LE is comprised of narcissistic sociopaths, pathological liars, violent psychopaths and troglodytes. They’re the bottom feeders of society.
