NY Police Association Claims Cops Are Victims Of “Blue Racism”

Here’s one from the ‘you can’t make this stuff up’ files. The New York Police Association says that discrimination against the “blue” is legitimate, and therefore, cops suffer from racism.

Nothing undermines racism quite like this. Angry at what they say is widespread discrimination against them for their chosen profession, (working for stolen funds and tossing peaceful people in jail for victimless crimes) a group of police officers in New York City coined the term “Blue Racism” as a way to draw attention to the mistreatment they say they face at the hands of the public.

The New York Police Department’s Sergeants Benevolent Association say that they have become victims of racism; even though police abuse is rampant and widespread and they oppress literally all of us.

“Cops are being shot at and killed just because they are cops,” Ed Mullins, the SBA president and a 36-year NYPD veteran, told Fox News. “Police are being made to be the bad guys and I’m not saying that there aren’t a few bad apples, but the majority of us are trying to help people and do our jobs.”

Let’s do the math for Mr. Mullins. According to their own data, only 33 of the 82 “deaths in the line of duty” so far in 2017 can even come close to counting as “being killed just because they are cops.” Car accidents and motorcycle crashes don’t count as being killed for “blue racism.” But let’s go ahead and announce how many civilians cops have killed si far in 2017: 633; and counting. And there will be more civilians killed by police today.

People have the right to discriminate against those who are systematically executing them; aka, cops. Period. If cops don’t like that people are tired of being killed or jailed or stolen from for victimless crimes (and sometimes for nothing), maybe they should quit terrorizing the public. The complaining by those who have a special badge allowing them to kill others without justice is getting ridiculously old.

On Sunday,  a video was released about “Blue Racism” in which the police group describes how police officers have been targeted for discrimination and how many people can’t look past the color of their uniform. But in all honesty, it isn’t the color of the uniform or the person wearing it that people have an issue with. It’s the disturbing way police go about enforcing victimless crimes, violating the Constitution, and taking orders like a robot that have most rattled.

“The average person doesn’t see those things that make me human,” the video’s narrator says. “They don’t even label as being African-American, Latino, Asian, Caucasian and so on. They tend to see an even broader stereotype, through an even more racist lens. When they look at me, they see blue,” the narrator adds.

Even Fox News did an accurate number portrayal of 2016.

The number of police officers killed on duty in 2016 did increase from the previous year — but it was still well below the recent yearly averages. A report by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund released last December showed 135 officers died on the job in 2016, the highest number in five years –but for the past 10 years the yearly average was 151 deaths. In comparison, law enforcement officers killed more than 1,000 individuals in 2016. -Fox News

The bottom line: people are not “racist” against the thin blue line. People are tired of law enFORCEment officers enforcing all laws, even those which go against the very Constitution they claim to uphold.  At the end of the day, cops follow orders and just do their job; which is the cornerstone of every tyrannical uprising in history. Without order followers, there would be no orders.

Sounds like racism to me from this article. They are paid to protect us, which most of them do very well. There will always be a bad apple, but overall they do a great job. Don’t fall for the propaganda.

      They’re all bad apples.

If there were good cops, there wouldn’t be so many bad ones.

Time to take the barrel to a landfill.

Shit happens when your a cop sure; people will die… but take accountability. If your partner committed a crime, as their accountabilibuddy, you should hold them accountable.

        • ReverendDraco✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ ᵃᶜᶜᵒᵘᶰᵗ

If your partner commits a crime, and you don’t report it, that makes you an accessory and equally complicit.

If your partner commits a crime you get a shovel and help dig. Otherwise they might find themselves in a hole in the ground.

What we’re seeing here is simply another group trying to play the victim card and using the overworked and now-meaningless term “racist” as a force multiplier (hey, it works for so-called “minorities,” so…). Cops know that the majority of people really don’t like them and have known this forever so what’s the big deal? Goes with the territory. Here’s a suggestion: if you want respect, act like you’re worthy of respect. Inventing idiotic concepts like “blue racism” and whining about how some people don’t like you is not the path to respect.

    “Blue racism,” eh?
Don’t know that I’ve ever seen a Pictish cop.

Talk about “crybullies.” ” We kill more than 10 times the number of us who are killed. Must be racism against our voluntarily chosen profession.”

If everyone was armed, we wouldn’t need them. You want to know why their friends are, 99% of the time, other dinks?? Because nobody trusts them!! I like cop killers personally, think about the cop killers at lexington or even in europe, during and after the war. They weren’t called “texas police” because, you know, it was in another country, but cop killers nevertheless!! They were called the SS and other assorted alphabet soup names, but cops just the same!! It never hurts my feelings when they get killed, the way I figure, karma has a way of getting back, sometimes anyway.

When 99.9% of American cops are NFG. It is not race. It is earned disrespect of the likes of them!

Wow. You really can’t make this shit up. The victimizors want to be portrayed as the victims. Classic.
Perhaps if the police weren’t so highly motivated to violate our rights, our privacy and our property while robbing us, forcing us to undergo violent and degrading cavity searches, even on small children, and killing innocent people under color of law, they wouldn’t be so hated by the community they are supposed to be protecting and serving.
The vast majority of the abuses at the hands of the police are during the enforcement of unConstitutional laws and arrests for victimless crimes. And many more happen during police raids on innocent people when they show up to the wrong address and shoot an unsuspecting citizen who has no reason to expect a no-knock warrant to be executed on their property.
No-knock warrants in America have increased by many thousands, and the death of innocent people has increased with it. They used to only execute no-knock warrants for violent criminals and drug gangs. But now they are being used against people for such ridiculous offenses as possession of marijuana, wellness checks, warrants for non-violent offences and many other reasons where it is a gross overkill for the situation. Most such instances would be better handled by two police officers simply knocking on their door and talking to the people. Too many times, innocent people “get in the way” of these violent and heavily armed police officers who are pumped up on adrenaline and can’t wait to shoot someone or beat them to a pulp with their batons whether they are guilty of a crime or not.
There is also the daily instance of police brutality during normal traffic stops where police become violent at the drop of a hat over nothing.
If the police want the respect of the people, perhaps they should stop treating us like enemy combatants and start treating us like human beings with rights and freedoms.
Until then, there will be no sympathy from me. You reap what you sow.
