Man Watering Friend’s Lawn Shot Dead By Police

After a neighbor called police about a “drunken man with a gun” police arrived on the scene. Douglas Zerby was watering the lawn at a friends house and his water hose nozzle was mistaken for a gun.

Police proceeded to unload a hail of bullets from their handguns and shotguns at the man, killing him.

    The police are more and more violent, there was a time when you could trust the police to protect you, now increasingly the articles are about police abuse of power, their inability to see anything beyond the end of their guns. Even if this man appeared to have a gun, the least that could have been done was for the police to demand he put is hands where they could access the item he was holding, without a word a man doing nothing wrong was killed and I believe that is a sign of what is to continue in this country
