Anal Sex, Oral Sex, and Touching Each Other’s Genitals: Just Another Day in Junior High Health Class

The last time I checked, none of the Three Rs stood for Reproduction or Recreational Sex.

However, a middle school in Kansas has apparently added those two Rs to the curriculum and is teaching students how to express their sexuality.

A poster entitled, “How Do People Express Their Sexual Feelings?” is broaching some rather shocking subjects with pupils. A photo taken by a 13 year old student lists things like:

  • Oral Sex
  • Hugging
  • Sexual Fantasy
  • Touching Each Other’s Genitals
  • Caressing
  • Anal Sex
  • Kissing
  • Dancing
  • Vaginal Intercourse
  • Hugging
  • Massage
  • Masturbation
  • Talking
  • Holding Hands
  • Saying “I like you”
  • Cuddling on the Couch
  • Grinding

Gosh, we can all be thankful that a school finds “anal sex” with “holding hands” to be equivalent.  That’s definitely the idea we want our middle schoolers to get.

A father said if his 13-year-old daughter hadn’t taken a picture of a questionable public poster and shown him, he’d never have known the content. Now that he knows, he’s not happy.

Mark Ellis says his daughter goes to Hocker Grove Middle School in the Shawnee Mission School District. She was so shocked by what she recently saw on a poster at school, that she took a picture of it home and showed her parents.

Her dad initially assumed it was a student prank, until he called the school and found  it was part of the curriculum.

“Why would you put it in front of 13-year-old students?” he asked.

He thought the poster, which lists things like “oral sex” and “grinding,” might’ve been a prank until he contacted the school principal. He was told it was a teaching material. But Ellis is now concerned that what’s on this poster is being taught to his daughter in school

“It upsets me. And again, it goes back to who approved this? You know this had to pass through enough hands that someone should have said, ‘Wait a minute, these are 13-year-old kids, we do not need to be this in-depth with this sexual education type of program,’” he said.

District spokeswoman, Leigh Anne Neal, says the poster needs to be viewed in the context of a bigger curriculum, which she calls abstinence-based for students in middle school.

“The poster that you reference is actually part of our middle school health and science materials, and so it is a part of our district approved curriculum,” Neal said. “However the item is meant to be part of a lesson, and so certainly as a standalone poster without the context of a teacher-led discussion, I could see that there might be some cause for concern.” (source)

Neal, the spokeswoman, claims that this is part of a national curriculum.

Once upon a time, Sex Ed was supposed to be about teaching children the basics in case they weren’t being taught at home. This way, young girls were not shocked and frightened by the onset of menstruation, teens understood how pregnancy occurred, and in some cases, the idea of birth control was introduced so that kids did not go into life completely ignorant of these things. However, this goes far beyond the basic “birds and bees” and crosses a line that takes away the innocence from an age group in which the kids should still be children.

If you have a child in the public school system, you might want to have a discussion with them to find out exactly what they are learning in health class.

Anything to divert people from learning their human rights. How to be a slave, obey, comply, is all they get —- along with this crap.

Parents have known about this garbage going on in government schools for years now, decades even. Either put your children in better (i.e. – private, religious) schools or home school them, or stop complaining. I seriously doubt that even trying to have more parent/teacher interaction would help. The public schools are communist indoctrination camps. Any parent who willingly lets their kids attend them needs to stop acting shocked when incidents like this occur.

Le sigh, sex ed has been a standard in school / high for 70+ years. What’s all the hubbub about all of a sudden?

    • wtf

Reproduction is obviously new. It’s not something humans have been doing as long as humans have existed.

Good parents want the choice to decide when their children learn about sex. When the school forces it, there’s a problem. That’s the hubbub. Also, innocence is exploring your partner, not coercing them into trying something you learned about on the playground.

  • wtf

I don’t know what words will get me censored, so I’ll be “creative”.

I was touching myself by age 12, but I knew what taking-it-in-the-rear stuff was by age 9. I wasn’t abnormal and I wasn’t abused. I learned from my friends, who learned from their friends, who learned from older siblings.

It’s normal after puberty to do such things, but people should discover it on their own and in their own time. It’s only perverts in the schools who want to teach it to kids. That’s the only reason I’d oppose this.

  • wtf

It’s better for them to learn it from people their own age than from perverted old people.

    • Someone

So you’d rather your 15 year old daughter be hanging out with some guy and have him fuck her because he heard about sex once and thinks he knows what it’s about? No! They should learn it from a respectable adult figure who can teach them the risks they’re taking and how to properly protect themselves, etc. You’re a terrible parent if you prefer your kids just learn it from some guy as opposed to a teacher. They’re not perverted old people, they’re respected men and women who we are entrusting with the education of our children. If you think they’re just perverted old people, then why are you letting them go to school? Why are you trusting your kids in the hands of perverted old people? Do not compare teachers to pedophiles you dim witted hog.

You are a sick f***!!! Pull y our goddamned head OUT of your a**!!

      • Herve

you must not know how many teacher have been send to jail for having sex with underage boys!

        • Realidad

Yeah, and some of ’em were even FEMALE teachers! Hard to believe, but true!

  • Seriously?

well golly gertrude…i just can’t seem to remember the day MY parents had that old anal sex ed discussion with me…must have been out sick that day…glad to see our schools are picking up that dropped “ball” as part of a bigger curriculum.

  • BillRind

okay what freak in the school system was allowed to hang this trash on the wall. the people involved in this including the school board must be removed, there teaching your children filth , you parents, wake up parents and fire these sleazy sodomite perverts.

  • apneaman

This is laughable. Most kids have unsupervised access to the internet and have watched plenty of porn long before they are 13. When I was 13 getting a hold of a playboy was a big deal. Now they have gonzo porn.

  • Freespirit

I am a very open-minded individual BUT what I cannot understand is why the obsession with our genitals.

Why don’t they discuss the real indicator of caring and loving such as touching each other face or hands, as an example???

What is the REAL motive of the school patriarchs?

  • Jasonn

Sounds to me like you have some voyeuristic perverts in charge of the curriculum.

  • felix1999

Silly ones. WHY do you think you can NOT go beyond the front desk to classrooms UNLESS it is pre-arranged? They don’t want you to see this stuff.

BTW, YOU as a parent in a public school will be required to have you finger prints taken, a background check and now, a photo and “trained” on how to be a volunteer! For teachers, they don’t require that.

You see background checks are “too expensive” for teachers and besides the UNIONS were upset when DC actually wanted to do something sane, for a change, and NOT HIRE CONVICTED SEX OFFENDERS as TEACHERS! Imagine that! Yes, if they did background checks on teachers, then they might be DISCRIMINATING AGAINST SEX OFFENDERS! We can’t have that, can we? Why no! UNIONS WANT CONVICTED SEX OFFENDERS TEACHING OUR KIDS! Isn’t that nice?

  • againstcorporaterule

Way to allow for pedophiles to mass-groom underage people -eh? NOT COOL!!! If adults don’t like having pornography forced on them, then why would we so-called “educators” for force it junior high people?

  • Herve

don’t think that parlance should be notified?

  • OldPoorRichard

Why didn’t it list bukakke, fisting, golden showers, gangbangs? Once you’ve instructed middle schoolers that anal sex is a way to “show affection”, I can’t figure out why they just don’t go full gonzo. Do they watch hardcore porn in health class, too?
