Independence Day is more than just BBQ, Beer and Fireworks. It’s about personal freedom and choice that has been afforded you by the Founding Fathers.
Today is the 4th of July. Today we celebrate our freedoms and liberties that were won through the great sacrifices made by our founding fathers after declaring independence from the British Empire. We have been celebrating the 4th of July for 236 years and in the beginning we indeed did have a lot to celebrate. The 2nd AmericanRevolution was fought in 1812 when we supposedly finally put the British out of our lives.
Now here today we find ourselves in a situation where in our Declaration of Independence could and should be re-issued to the international insurgents posing as our government. Every abuse outlined in ourDeclaration of Independence is at present being put upon us in a hyper-mode as provided by modern technology.
Our individual rights only exist to the extent that we are willing to enforce them. Nogovernment is going to maintain the chains that bind it. Anyone who believes that we the people still control our government to the smallest degree is a fool.
If we are truly the patriotic progeny of our founding fathers, we must summon the courage to stand up and fight for our freedom and liberty. We are in a precarious situation wherein the international socialists, in direct coordination with the crowned heads of Europe, are in the middle of their final push to remove the idea of individualfreedoms and liberties from any reality on this planet.
If you look past the smoke screen you will find that those seeking to enslave us today are the direct descendants of those who tried to enslave our colonial forefathers. It has been an ongoing campaign to dumb us down and trick us into trading our liberty for a false security, as no person can truly be secure within his or herself unless he or she is in control of their person and their destiny.
In short when you allow others to make your decisions you acquiesce to live with the mistakes of others. Then when it turns out that those others seek to control you, and you find out that the mistakes are not mistakes at all, you are forced to regain that which you have surrendered.
So before you fire up the barbeque and start lighting off fireworks take five and ask yourself just what exactly are we celebrating today?

So this Independence Day, we feel it’s important to define what freedom means to us. But, first, I’ll tell you what freedom isn’t. It isn’t celebrating once-a-year with beer and fireworks about America declaring independence from England 236 years ago. Â That has very little to do with defining individual freedom in 2012.
The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are vital to be remembered, and just their existence sets America apart from most nations in how we define rights and freedom. Â But, just as have most Americans have forgotten (or never learned) the Constitution, so have the lawmakers.
We are not unique. Â Everyone can choose to be less dependent on the system and become more self-reliant. With each step you make towards the goal of being self-sufficient, the more free you become. Â The less dependent you are, the more choices you have. Â It’s that simple.
Don’t expect governments to give you more freedom. Â As we’ve witnessed in recent years, they can only remove freedom. Â Only you can define what freedom means to you and then pursue that path in your personal life and through broader activism.
So this American Independence Day 2012, take the time to reflect on what individual freedom means to you and go after it. Â It’s yours for the taking.
