Indoctrination System: Former Teacher Speaks Out, “Everything I loved about teaching is extinct.”

Real teachers, the ones who care about their students, the ones who teach kids to think critically and not just recite things by rote, are being targeted. Why?

Because our public indoctrination centers, also known as schools, don’t want children to think.

They want children to learn specified “facts” in order to pass standardized tests, thus creating perfect little worker bees. They want to produce adults who will not question authority or the status quo, but merely assimilate what they are told as truth, and act accordingly.

Because of this, the school system is losing those teachers who could make a real difference in the future of our country.

Ellie Rubenstein is such a teacher, and she made a video of her resignation from the school system, saying, “Everything I loved about teaching is extinct”. She exposes the entire system, and continues, “I thought I’d be a teacher the rest of my life. But I no longer feel I’m doing anything meaningful. I have to get out before my sense of self and self-worth is completely obliterated. Unless you are a ‘yes’ man, you will soon find out your only choice is to become one or leave”.

Much to Rubenstein’s astonishment, her video was so warmly received by many Youtube viewers that it got nearly half a million hits in the first day.

She wrote:

The outpouring of love and support is overwhelming. I originally intended for this video to be watched by my administrators and my community; I had no idea it would reach so many. The thousands of stories already shared with me from around the globe that mirror my own are both critical and heartbreaking. I cannot change the system from within, so I leave to allow myself to continue teaching in my way, on my terms. I never planned on giving up, and I never will. If you are interested in learning more about me and my future educational endeavors, feel free to visit I have the deepest respect and gratitude for those whose voices join with mine, and for those who are still fighting to find their own.

    What a surprise!-NOT.

EVERYTHING the state touches eventually turns to bureaucratic poison.

The best thing that you can do for your kids (and possibly this country) is keep them away from the compulsory indoctrination centers where the principle lesson that the learn is> You will appear where and when the state says you must. While present you will do what the state says you must do for as long as the state says you must do it. If you question the prevailing paradigm or behave out of state mandated parameters the state will medicate or incarcerate you.

    >My name is Legion, for we are many. Expect us.<

Agreed. Pubic Schools are now politcally correct nanny state dominated re-education day camps.

      Uhhh… A DEMOCRAT one? 😉

There is no creative environment in schools. The standardization and control is implementing marxist indoctrination, not conservative thought or traditional American values, let alone real education.

Read Charlotte Iserbyt’s The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America and read Educating for the New World Order.

      • Jean

Also read John Taylor Gatto’s writings. The lessons taught have nothing to do with the subjects – rather, they make indoctrination of the “subjects” (children) top and only priority.

I went through this for 35 years. It’s all about making them little socialists… for the collective.. that’s all. It’s corrupt!

  • Teacher

Actually she is describing the opposite. She is a laissez faire teacher which is constructivism… not good.

    • Heimdall

You have to admit, though, that the system stifles any conservative, traditonalist teacher. Very few non-socialists or communists make it through the teacher’s programs so what can one expect?

The centralized control of education is implementing cultural marxist and completely marxist programs If it stifles progressives it also stifles free-market, conservative, traditionalists.

Standardized tests are standardized socialism and communism, not to mention the anti-white racist harping and rants that pass for social studies and English these days. Look at the new CORE standards.

Everyone has a sad song to sing. Don’t let your angst turn to anger. Unless you fit in, you’re out.

    • Heimdall

It’s about time for the doormats in this country to get angry.

The communism is so bad in the schools that the communist staff members attack the regular humans at staff meetings by using the Delphi Technique or method. This is a communist technique. I knew a real wh**re tool of a vicious communist bi**h with CIA ties who used it in staff meetings. It is now a principal running a school. I have also made a more detailed comment about education under the article about the child who was punished for playing with a quarter sized toy gun.

Home school. Vote down school tax levies. Keep your children away from psychopathic marxists.

These public schools are more influenced byte Feds than by local or state requirements,it is the Feds that try to push leftist socialist agendas on the students, most of the teachers are union members, very leftist socialist,so ya’ll know who most of them voted for in the last election, the leftist socialist prez.Everything leftist socialism touches it destroys in a matter of time, just look at the former USSR.Keep your powder dry.

But will any of us live to see it fall under its own weight?
And notice that things got further this time, than last time (WW2). And further THAT time, than the time before (Age of Empire: French, Spanish, English colonies.)

Eventually, we will lose, unless we cull them the hard way. And we MUST be thorough, as civilization does, itself, create this very problem. Greeks, Romans, Chinese, Japanese, Ethiopians, all fell apart, and mostly the same way. (Ethiopia at the time was called Kush. Christian kingdom.)
