I want to offer unconditional obedience to the Führer…I mean, Obama…

At Brevard Community College in Florida, one professor took her fervent devotion to President Obama a little too far. Professor Sharon Sweet allegedly forced students in her class to sign oaths to vote for Obama in the upcoming election. She had printed the oaths off the website Gotta Vote, which is, clearly, sponsored by the Obama campaign.
The issue was brought to light when a concerned parent called the college administrators. John Glisch, Associate Vice President for Communications at BCC, released a statement:
The burgeoning question, of course, is “What class was this woman teaching?  Political Science? Communism 101?” Umm…no – Professor Sweet is an algebra teacher.  And not a very popular one either, if the reviews on the website “Rate My Professors” are anything to go by.  The site shows overwhelmingly negative reviews of Sweet by her students – her score was 2.3 on a scale of 1-5.  Excerpts from some particularly notable student comments:
Professor Sharon Sweet is the new poster child for “Indoctrination” instead of “Education”.  Is anyone else reminded of Germany’s Reichswehreid - the oath of allegiance to German forces that was changed in 1934 to contain Hitler’s name?

Bu-Bye. Glad she took a leave of absence.. will hopefully be permanent… I am willing to bet she’s not the only commie indoctrinator out there.
I think the days of ‘commie’ indoctrination are long gone. The other side is much better at it with their control of the media – Foxnews that great infomercial and propaganda channel. They are so good at it that a large section of the population falls for the misinformation every-time.
Why is this becoming such an epidemic? How can “educators” at all levels be allowed to influence their students to only think and believe as they do? Ah, yes- the faculty and the administration allow it to go on and usually are enablers of these people that use their positions of influence and power to transform their views into not – so – subtle indoctrination for a grade. Agree with my view or your GPA suffers. Parents need to wake up- better an independent critical thinker than a drone.
