Hillary and Obama Want “Weapon of War” AR-15 Banned After Orlando Shooting

Now might be a good time to invest in a manufacturer that makes the AR-15… their stock is probably about to skyrocket. Why?

The president and the woman scheming to become president today are both calling for them to be banned.

Following the already highly politicized Orlando mass shooting that reportedly left 49 people dead and another 50+ wounded, Hillary has come out to say that the “weapon of war” used in the attack should be banned completely.

“We know the gunman used a weapon of war,” Hillary told CNN. She then goes on to say the assault weapons ban should be reinstated.

Listen for yourself:

“I believe strongly common sense gun safety reform across our country would make a difference,” Hillary said. Go ahead and guess what “common sense” is in her view.

Following that, CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller Tweeted out that President Obama agrees America should ban these “weapons of war” and they should not be allowed to be sold in gun stores.

It may seem too soon to point out the obvious, but this shooting, in targeting the LGBT crowd, also targeted primarily Democrat voters going into an election year and before the final primary. Hillary has made gun control a central focus of her campaign. It’s not too hard to figure out how this shooting will be used to try and get that accomplished.

  • The Ar-15 is the one of the most formidable weapons for defense that we are allowed to legally own as slave citizens. They cannot take us over if we the people are armed with these guns so I knew there would be a push to take them from us. DO NOT COMPLY!

  • yeah, didn’t see THAT coming, especially in an election year.
Looks like my investment in AR lowers and mags is about to pay off big…

    • Helluva3ngineer

Some dude I know just ordered a mid-length upper with stainless barrel on Father’s Day special. That guy!!

      • good for him… WHOEVER he may be 😉

  • greg

To bad the people in the crowd weren’t allowed to be armed.

Leftists let Bruce Jenner identify as a woman driver who killed another woman but wont accept an Afghani moslem shooter identity as IS IS.

This event in Orlando is a gun grabbers wet dream.

Can you say false flag attack?

In U.S. v. Miller the supreme court held that Miller’s right to a sawed-off shotgun was not protected by the 2nd Amendment because it was NOT a military weapon, because the 2nd Amendment only applies to weapons with military uses. That means a ban on AR-15’s would be unconstitutional as a “weapon of war.” So much for Owebummer’z constitutional scholarship. We all know he isn’t a constitutional scholar but an enemy of the Constitution.

As an aside the court was wrong about sawed off shotguns not being military weapons. They may not be standard issue, but especially in urban warfare they are often used by soldiers.

    • Helluva3ngineer

Yeah. You’re problem is that you can read and understand. That’s why it makes no sense to you.

    • Millers shotgun was a cut down side-by-side, quite different than the Model 95 trench guns used in combat by the military of the time 😉
Interesting point though: the supreme court once ruled the second amendment only applies to military weapons.

  • Pist-Off

Banning the AR-15? Damn, these people need to read, and follow the 2nd amendment. Banning the AR-15 will give those like Omar, all the fire power they want, and need to mow down good law abiding citizens, like blades of grass——with-out defense, as what has just happened in Orlando. Gun free zones are nothing more than death traps as we have seen. 2 shootings in Orlando, within a week, and remember San Berdo, among others. Sticks and clubs are worthless, should the US citizens be faced with a all out attack, in selected areas. Sure appears to me that our leaders are inviting these incidents, by wanting to disarm the good people. Sheeple must remember that the armed citizens will protect themselves and family FIRST, while the sheeple whom surrender their arms come 2nd.

    • Arshwar

The more gun free zones that have sprung up the more shootings we have had. How do the left leaning followers not see this blatant obvious fact as truth? Idiocracy in full effect.

  • packsack

This is another piece of crap, anyone who would vote should be recall and never shall have government office? Remember you must vote to pass to see what in it?

  • knifemare69

No AR-15 availability? Fine, I’ll just get an AR-10 that fires the more lethal 7.62 round, or maybe even an HK G3 copy in that vein.

They had better think again about trying to ban the AR-15! The downtown of every major city in the nation would be filled with AR-15 toting patriots, chanting, “Come and get em!” I’m afraid that it would spark a civil war.

    • no they wont. the downtown of every major city will be filled with lines of AR-15 toting idiots looking to register them or turn them in.

People talk all the smack they want online, but when the rubber meets the road they will line up like sheep because they are more worried about going to work Monday than they are about losing a right.

      • Some of us out there live in daily defiance, some of us. 😉

        • given that you are one of the more articulate, intelligent, and historically attuned posters I’ve seen on here in the last 5 years, that does give me some hope.

      • Montana Man

The photo you provided was specific to CT, following the Sandy Hook shooting. If the govt placed a nation-wide federal ban on AR-15s, patriots would not submit so sheepishly as the wimps in CT. It would become a PR nightmare for the government, and law enforcement. Just imagine a Furguson, MO standoff in every major U.S. city, and possibly one very huge gathering in downtown Washington, DC. It would send a very strong message, and that message would be: Molon Labe!

However, we needn’t be concerned that such a scenario will ever occur as long as we make sure to elect a conservative President, and Republicans to both houses of Congress. We simply cannot shirk our duty to vote for the major Conservative candidates on the ballot. Those who refuse to vote for Trump in the upcoming election reveal that they don’t care about our freedom.

        • it was about a year after sandy hook that photo was taken, and it goes to show that a very significant portion of gun owners would line right up. The same would happen it it were national. Yes, there would be plenty of us holding back and stashing firearms (I think there was like 10:1 in CT that skipped the registration..), but I doubt many would be out protesting, armed in the streets. We have let them walk on us regarding our electronic privacy, our personal liberty, our children’s education, foreign policy, personal indignities like the TSA, and a complete trashing of basic understanding of Constitutional law, yet we just shut up and go to work on Monday cause, you know, bills etc. I sincerely hope I’m wrong and you’re right, but sadly I just don’t see much in the way of testicular fortitude in the American people any more. Don’t take my comments personally, its been a long couple of days listening to the raving of the anti-rights crowd. I’m to the point where its immensely frustrating and discouraged. Its particularly bad as I just (as in last week..) finished a fantastic book on gun control in the Weimar Republic and suddenly now we as a country are right now following that exact historical precedent. I feel like I’m watching what used to be a proud, free people run face first into a spinning propeller…

          • Montana Man

I want to remind you that even the smallest animal will rear up and bite when it is cornered. There are plenty of courageous American patriots willing to take a stand for liberty. Liberals lack common sense when they foolishly taunt the viper. Molon Labe!

  • mayday911us.

Ok fine but what about the classified weapons used by snipers with scopes that are used to guard the president. With the Department of Education with the department of social security buying weapons?

If that is a weapon of war why do law-enforcement agencies use them?

    • doodaa

Because they are preparing for mass unrest and don’t want the slaves to be able to fight back. Thugs/Bullies will think twice before attacking an armed target.

What they mean is that it will be “the weapon of a Revolutionary war” against the Liberal Socialist Democrat tyrannical rule of our nation. So, yes, that weapon must be denied to The People. May then The People pick up clubs and rocks and proceed to commit war upon those that have imposed tyranny upon them.

    • Well they can use their Ar15’s that they never gave up in the first place too, right?

      • Frank

Basically, use whatever is handy to beat those SOBs to death. Having a “contraband” firearm would do nicely, too.

        • Any local gun show will have 80% lowers for sale that you can buy with cash and then another vendor that sells ar15 kits without the lower, put those two together and you have an unregistered weapon that won’t show up in any confiscation lists.

  • Hillary, Hillary, Hillary.
Take a minute to catch your breath.
The M-16/AR-15 is a weapon of war.
That’s exactly why it should be sold in gun stores.
It’s not about duck hunting, ya know?

Americans have the right and “advantage of being armed”—unlike the citizens of other countries whose “governments are afraid to trust the people with arms”

    • Wags71

They are nothing alike. M-16s are full auto. AR-15 are rifles with a bigger clip and “scary” looking.

      • “nothing alike”?

I really don’t need to respond, since knowledgeable gun buffs already know the answer.

        • Grim Fandango

Single shot vs selectable full auto, or 3 shot bursts.

They may be somewhat alike, but which one is the weapon of war, and which one is the wannabe?

          • M-1 Garand
            Semi-auto only.
            Not a “weapon of war”?
Not one of the finest battle rifles ever designed?
Not as lethal today as it was during WWII?
            Please.

          • Grim Fandango

Weapon of War or not – “Shall Not Be Infringed” – Period!

So we clearly agree. I just can’t stand their clever mis-information designed to scare the average sheep. They are trying to demonize the AR, make it a mythical, uncontrollable “killing machine”.

Anything can be a weapon of war, even rocks, just ask the beleaguered Palestinians.

          • AlanMacDonald

Fandango, you seem to be ‘dancing around’ the seminal, cancerous, and causal issue of EMPIRE.

What’s your position/posture on Empire, my friend?

Guns, as you rightly say, like; rocks, bows, spears, and bombs (including nuclear ones) are just the historical tools of Empires — as are Empires’ ‘big tools’ for dividing people, like; myth, ethnicity, mystery, fundamentalist religions, racism, nationalism, technology, and economic ideology (which this last-standing Disguised Global Capitalist Empire seems to have employed to achieve its power over many of we deluded ‘subjects’)

          • Grim Fandango

Empire is inevitable. The Founders knew that and attempted to configure our government to be self-subjugating. But like a deadly pathogen it evolved around those puny constraints, and is now poised to destroy its host.

          • AlanMacDonald

Grim, you sure aren’t ‘dancing around’ that truth!

The truth may well be quite ‘grim’, as you honestly diagnose, Dr. Grim, but you are certainly correct that if we Americans have any chance of successfully confronting and beating this damn cancer of Empire, we have to be very honest with ourselves and our countrymen.

Thanks for your understanding and support in joining the societal battle against this Disguised Global Capitalist Empire only nominally HQed in, and ‘posing’ as, our former country.

          • My point is that the technical differences between guns is beside the point when the issue is gun rights.

We have the right to own all kinds of weaponry, including full auto machine guns, Stinger missiles, and yes, even nuclear weapons.

Given the irresponsible manner in which sleazy pols such as Hillary Clinton have misused the military hardware at the USG’s disposal, could gun rights activists such as ourselves do worse?

          • AlanMacDonald

Bevin, don’t get your thumb (or any other little thing) caught in the internal magazine release for the bolt of Garand.

BTW, the standard issue M-1, which as you say, is “less lethal” than the gun used in the Orlando slaughter of civilians, was deadly enough with only an 8 shot capacity to kill a million soldiers of the Nazi and Japanese EMPIRES.

You are right in one respect, that guns are not the most dangerous ‘evil’ humanity faces today —- the one remaining Disguised Global Capitalist EMPIRE is.

      • AlanMacDonald

Wags, “clips” are what you get at a barbar shop or what girls used to put in their hair.

For guns, magazines are what hold the cartridges (bullets).

BTW, don’t go all “scary” if you ever actually hold a rifle, just make sure you are holding the correct end.

  • RandyJ/ProudSurvivor

The only time an AR15 will become a “weapon of war” is when it is turned against the government. Otherwise, it is just another firearm.

  • Grim Fandango

    Why I Need an AR-15

The government and its shills have found a new mantra… the AR-15 is a ‘Weapon of War’

Folks, if the AR-15 is a weapon of war, why hasn’t it been issued to any military force in the world? Not now, not ever? Because it is NOT a weapon of war, it is a single shot per trigger pull weapon, not an automatic fire weapon. Any force armed with AR-15’s that had to wage war against a force armed with REAL Weapons of War would lose, every single time, and it wouldn’t even be a fair fight. So now, since we have dispelled the calculated lie about the AR-15, let me tell you why I have one.

The government has a plan in place to survive a major catastrophe, called Continuity of Government. When all hell breaks loose, they have bunkers
under mountains equipped to survive anything. Off the grid power, storeable
food, and Weapons of War. Seems sensible right?

Well I have a plan in place for my family to survive a major catastrophe as well, I call it Continuity of Family. When all hell breaks loose, I have designated tactical, defensible positions in my home, off the grid power, storeable food, water filters, propane… and several AR-15’s… along with 12ga shotguns, and .22 rifles for hunting.

Our national power grid is vulnerable to attack by terrorists, a meteor strike, an earthquake or tsunami from an undersea earthquake. The Sun can emit a massive electromagnetic pulse (EMP), which could destroy every electronic device in an instant without warning. Our fragile electric grid has numerous massive transformers that cannot be replaced in a reasonable amount of time, as they would have to be ordered, built and shipped. In the meanwhile, no electricity means our whole way of life stops immediately. Everything we do relies on electricity, and we have long since passed the time when we can fall back on a manual mode.

No food can be delivered to the stores, and within a few days all the available food will be gone. No gas for our vehicles. No ATM transactions. No water purification. No sewage processing. Just imagine the chaos this will produce. It’s the Mad Max Syndrome, where roving bands of armed criminals will be looking for whatever YOU may have stored away, and they will kill you for it in an instant.

Think the government will step up and protect you? Think they will provide your family with food and water? Do you remember Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans? The government stooges actually prevented loads of food and water from being delivered to the people. The government stooges just rounded people up and forced them, at gunpoint, into the Superdome where they spent days without electricity, without functioning sanitary facilities, food or water. Imagine your family locked in the Superdome with hundreds of thousands of others, including criminals and perverts. Now wait until night when it becomes pitch black in the steaming tropical heat and humidity.

Now, that’s why I own a AR-15. And since you probably don’t live in a gated
community protected by armed guards equipped with Weapons of War , that’s why you should too.
