Fukushima? 10,000 Dead Squid Wash up on Chile Beach

It is being referred to as Cthulhu-geddon.

Squid have washed up on Santa Maria Island off Chile this week in what some have described as biblical proportions. Thousands of dead and dying squid are piled up on the shore. While some squid normally do wash up this time of year, it’s never been in this large of a quantity.

Exact reason for this die-off is unknown, but some experts claim it might be a sudden drop in oxygen content in the water or an increase in water temperatures. They just really don’t know.

Of course, just like all the other mass die-offs up and down the Pacific coast in recent years, no one in any official capacity is pointing to the Fukushima disaster, still dumping tons of radioactive water into the sea as it has been for the last half a decade now just across the globe from Chile.

As the article rightly pointed out, Hypoxic waters are the most likely culprit. This year in particular saw a huge spike in Algae growth in the Pacific, and hence a “Dead Zone” probably ensued.

      Yahoo news more like ya-fools-news

      • Right to the Point

It was reported, by many agencies. That was the quickest link I had on hand. There are satellite photos of this bloom reaching from South America to Alaska. Do some research….

        • august

goes further back than you think that is for sure back to when they use to test nukes in the ocean Evan Mercury pollution in the oceans and waterways, contaminating fish and seafood, from ww2
your the one who need’s to do research…

          • Right to the Point

I have a degree in Enviro Sci, live next to Hanford, WA. Somehow my bet is that I’ve got a better grip on the nuclear issue than you may imagine. That’s not to say that those zoomies in the water aren’t bad, but to say that no one is producing scintillator counts that are alarming in the tidal/intertidal regions, or the gyres for that matter.

          • Frank Energy

Not trying to be an ass, but if you have enviro science and live next to Hanford, I think you are not applying your knowledge properly.

          • Right to the Point

          • PacE

They have babies being born with no brain around Hanford. Its the chemicals and radiation. its in the water too.

          • Right to the Point

That’s mostly isolated around Yakima. It’s up river and up wind.
I thought the same thing at first. What they are exposed to is about 47 chemicals for fruit trees. If you throw in the other agriculture in the area, it could be much higher.
Get this. The doctors in that region determined it is from Low Folic Acid, If I remember correct. They said it’s the difference between corn and wheat tortillas. I’m not buying it…..

          • PacE

I doubt there are any mothers in the USA that are not taking folic acid vitamins, there doctors would be remiss to not advise this at the time of pregnancy test. But Hanford is in the ground water, not just the river. And the wind blows all directions.

          • Right to the Point

Rarely do migrant workers go to doctors for pregnancy care. I don’t agree with their assessment either. I know the aquifer is connected to the river, and have fought with the DOE over their Phosphate remediation plan to no avail. The predominately blows from West to East. Being an alarmist, is not of value. Learning the real issues is of value. Please take five minutes and learn what you’re talking about, or stay off my timeline…..

no one in any official capacity is pointing to a space alien NWO vaccination conspiracy either… sheesh… talk about pseudo-journalism.

  • Guillotine_ready

It’s startling that people realize nuclear power is an incredibly stupid idea that was not thought out before being started. People are against it but do nothing when the killers and robbers that be decide to do it anyway. Life is a battle to protect oneself and family, to procure the needed items for life and to put down threats, not allow them to continue on.
The queen of England is by far the main owner of uranium mines in the world. Besides nuclear weapons there is not much use for uranium except for nuclear reactor fuel. And the queen like all parasites wants more no matter what the cost.
People need to stop being passive little victims and stand up to tyranny even if it is the tyranny of banning hurtful words, or doing away with the names of colors or believing there are only two possible genders no matter what a twisted mind comes up with.
I think when my generation is gone this world will not be fit for an intelligent person to inhabit any longer, and it may get that way before we are gone.

  • 1truthVSlies

Remember this every time you hear a shill or fool pimping thorium reactors. They’re just as dangerous.
