You know we’re in trouble when the government is out running TV and radio commercials to convince more Americans to apply for Supplemental Nutritional Assistance benefits. A new campaign costing tax payers $3 million is promoting food stamps as a way to eat right and get fit – because everyone knows that healthy food is so cheap that a family of five receiving $500 monthly for food stamp assistance can afford to buy fruits, vegetables, nuts, soy and all-organic products. This isn’t exactly it, but we have the fattest poor people of any nation. Instead of fat-ass Michelle messing with student lunches, she should promote/insist on healthful food choices for food stamp recipients. They are the fattest, most disgusting group of meat bags I’ve come across. Maybe add drug testing for welfare, enforce paternal child support before government handouts, no education grants for non-students… I’ve got a hundred of ‘em — just elect me!
Right on, Dude! A few days ago, I saw a woman pay for food with government money, then hop into a new BMW convertible. What am I doing wrong? A woman at my wife’s job is 21, has 2 keeeds, live-in drug dealer boyfriend, gets welfare, food stamps and student grant — but she doesn’t go to school. She doesn’t want to get money from the keeeds father because Obummer gives her enough.
You’re all exactly right. Its a good idea for food stampers to eat better, but I doubt this sort of subliminal advertising will get the job done. They’re just advertising to get food stamps. The Dude is right, regulate the use of food stamps for healthier food, just like they do now against buying alcohol, tobacco.
